OT: Staying in Washington, D.C.

Does anyone have recommendations for budget-friendly places to stay in Washington, D.C.? I just need a spot for one night for two people—nothing too fancy, but definitely not sleeping in a park, at a train station, or out on the street! 🙂

I heard there might be a motel near Central Park—somewhere in the $15 range per night—but honestly, I have no clue if that’s actually true or where exactly it would be located.
