Vulvar itching: any advice?

Hi everyone...
So... I've been dealing with some intense itching on my vulva (specifically on the inner labia) for about 2 or 3 days now. I haven't noticed any skin changes or unusual discharge... Is it possible this is just irritation from oral sex, or could it be something else? In your opinion, should I go ahead and schedule an appointment with a gynecologist?

Anthony Johnson29, you seriously need to hit up a gynecologist. That sounds like a yeast infection to me. They'll probably give you some vaginal suppositories, a cream for the outer area, and tell you to hold off on sex for two weeks.😉

I went through the exact same thing about two years ago and totally thought it was just from shaving, so I kept scratching and scratching until I literally made raw patches on my labia.😵 Once it got to be too much to handle, I finally went to the doctor.

It actually flared up again a few weeks back, but since I already knew the drill, I booked an appointment right away.
They’ll likely prescribe a cream for your guy to put on his tip, too. Because honestly, he might have caught the fungus and passed it to you, or you gave it to him—you can't ever really tell.🙄

I live in this tiny little town near Indianapolis, and I only ever go to the gynecologist once a year for my regular checkup. But the issue here is we basically only have one doctor in the area, so getting an appointment is a total nightmare—and this time, I absolutely cannot wait. I don’t know what’s going on, but for the last two weeks, I’ve been dealing with this intense itching around my labia. I’m terrified it might be a yeast infection, but honestly, I can’t feel anything unusual under my fingers, except for when I scratch like crazy—then everything just gets super swollen. I’ve been washing with chamomile rinses, but it’s doing absolutely nothing. My appointment isn't for another month, so I went ahead and picked up some Monistat, but I haven't used it yet because I'm scared I might be treating the wrong thing. I have no idea how I'm going to survive these next four weeks. I am seriously losing my mind here. Please, if you have any advice or home remedies, let me know.
