So, I took a bit of a tumble off my bike yesterday, and honestly, in the heat of the moment, it didn't feel like anything was seriously wrong—just some minor scrapes and bruises, you know? But then I woke up this morning and my forearm is absolutely killing me, and I’m having a really hard time even moving my hand. This kind of thing has never happened to me before, so I'm sitting here wondering if I should just suck it up or if it's actually worth making an appointment at the urgent care or something.
I mean, look, it doesn't hurt like crazy when I'm just sitting still and not trying to move my hand, and I have this nagging feeling it might just clear up in a day or two, but then again... who knows. Anyway, thanks.

Look, if we suggest he actually sees a doctor, he'll probably just ask if he should take his old Cadillac or his Ford Fiesta instead. And just like that, we're back to talking about cars...

Listen to the doctor, whether it’s right now or later—and stop acting like you know better than him.

I wonder if there is a subforum dedicated to medicine and health here?

Looks like you just pulled a ligament or something.

Hopefully you left early 🙂 I bailed after five days when they gave me an ultimatum: "Do you want your collarbone to heal crooked, or should we just reset it?" I chose to let it heal on its own. Big mistake. Now one shoulder sits lower than the other, I dealt with pain for five straight years, and my whole skeletal alignment is totally shot... the takeaway? If they need to reset it, let 'em pull!
