Stupid question, but is there a way to get an email notification whenever someone replies to my post? If so, where do I find that setting?

Hmm... I'm not entirely sure. I remember back when I was hanging out on some old phpBB forums, you could set up notifications for whenever you got a private message. You could even toggle an option to get an email alert if someone replied to a thread you started. πŸ™‚ As for vBulletin, I don't know the exact settings offhand. 😁 No help from me, I guess, and here I am acting like some kind of moderator. 🀣

It’s definitely a thing 😁

Just click on "Thread Tools" right above the first post of any topic you want to follow, then select "Subscribe to this Thread"

Don't expect an instant notification, thoughβ€”it usually takes about 20 minutes to kick in, and sometimes even longer (at least that was my experience last time I tried πŸ€”)
Keep in mind that it doesn't just alert you when someone replies specifically to your post; it tracks activity for the entire thread

You also need to head over to Settings => Edit Options => Messaging & Notification => Default Thread Subscription Mode => Instant email notification. πŸ˜‰
