Max Verstappen was absolutely sensational today. As for Ricciardo, he first fell victim to a botched strategy and now his tires have completely given up on him. He’s going to lose his mind.
Ferrari really blew it.

Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo took one approach, while Max Verstappen and Kimi Räikkönen went a completely different way. Based on the driver selection, it’s clear the pit wall believed the first strategy would be the faster one, but looking at how things unfolded, it seems everything actually played right into the hands of Max Verstappen and Kimi Räikkönen.

Do yourself a favor and log off.

Young Max is the future. Besides, he was faster than Ricciardo. Plus, a debut win following a sudden mistake? Sounds good. And Red Bull loves that kind of narrative. It’s similar to how they handled Sebastian Vettel’s first title, backing him over Mark Webber even though Webber had more points and theoretically better odds.

Breaking through the Ferkan fight
The battle between Ricciardo-Vettel-Alonso
And Alonso fighting hard for those points
Honestly, anything could happen.
We might even see some fireworks in the very first lap.👍

What exactly did they do to him?
The fact that he’s currently pulling a 1.2-second lead per lap over Sebastian Vettel!?

Pure genius. Making that last move right in the middle of a dirty corner with zero visibility.

Don't kid yourselves—neither Max Verstappen's nor Kimi Räikkönen's tires are gonna make it to the end.
