I am absolutely losing my mind here
It feels like we’re seeing total inflation when it comes to these charity drives
Just dial up and donate via the service number $1.75
And hey, while you're at it, let's let AT&T make some money for the country so they can collect their share of the sales tax
Seriously, what on earth is this government doing?!?!?
Isn't it their fundamental job to actually look out for its citizens?
We end up donating to a hospital just so the hospital can go out and buy basic equipment
But wait—isn't the hospital already supposed to be supported by the state? We pay our taxes and various local levies constantly, so isn't the government responsible for funding hospitals, medical machinery, social services, and all that stuff?!?
We are already paying for these things
So where is all our money actually going?!?!?
The government takes our money for these services, and then they turn around and ask us to donate for those exact same things again
It's a complete disaster
