And there was zero reason for it—first time ever she's been late on me, and I nearly lost my mind...😲

The pregnancy itself isn't what's worrying me anymore—three different tests have made that clear enough.
What I am concerned about is this sharp stabbing sensation in my ovaries I've had for the last three days.
To be blunt, I'm worried because I don't know what's going on. I've had several waves of cramps lately that feel just like my period is coming, but nothing happens. They just come and go.
I'm also having frequent bowel movements (3 or 4 times a day), though it isn't diarrhea—not sure if there's any connection there.
Additionally, I've noticed a heavy white discharge.

Regarding the tests, I only mentioned them for context. Too many women take a test the moment their period is late, get a negative result, and just assume they're fine.

Maybe you were ovulating—that could explain the sharp pains in your ovaries. I get those same twinges during ovulation, plus my libido goes through the roof... If you want to check, take your temperature orally; if it hits 36.8 or higher, you likely ovulated and that's your answer. Ever since I stopped taking birth control, I can feel every single ovulation cycle like this. As for that white discharge, it might be an infection—it happens to plenty of women...

My ovulation happened at the end of April. It was supposed to be on the 22nd, but it was late (I can tell by the discharge, and I can feel it too).
This stabbing sensation is different; I don't even know how to describe it. I've never felt ovarian pain quite like this before.

That whitish discharge usually shows up right before my period starts, except this time it was much heavier and then just stopped, even though there's no bleeding yet.

Honestly, I have no clue—it might just be a hormonal thing. If you’ve been on birth control for a long time, your body might still be adjusting... or it could just be some random inflammation. When my period was a month late once, I dealt with these nagging ovarian pains that lasted for about a month straight. They’d flare up and then fade out, just lingering for weeks. Everything is fine with me now, though—I went in for a checkup. It was likely just a hormonal imbalance from being on the pill or maybe just the stress of traveling. It’ll work itself out. Just go see your doctor... if you can swing it, book a private ultrasound. You can usually get seen the same day, which would help ease your mind since I know exactly how much this sucks.

a sorry, I see you're heading over to the chat with the Smiths. Good luck—you'll find out soon enough it’s really no big deal...😉

I ended up being late once because I was dealing with some ovarian inflammation, so let me know how everything went at the doctor's office.😉

Hi there.

So, I went to see my OB-GYN today.
It turns out my PCOS is making ovulation pretty much impossible right now.
I was prescribed some pills to kickstart my period, after which I’ll need to start taking Logitech.

My doctor made it clear that Trigueros isn't an option for me.

Since you’ve been dealing with PCOS, these issues have clearly been simmering under the surface for a while now... I’m honestly surprised they’re only just starting to flare up like this... maybe it's something the birth control is doing

If I were in your shoes, I’d probably try to get everything back on track using natural remedies, just to make sure things are running smoothly when you eventually decide to start a family

If I were you, I'd try managing this with natural remedies to ensure everything is fine when you decide to have kids.

Yeah, it’s weird for me too. My cycles have always been regular until now. No issues at all.
I don't even know how to fix it. I heard birth control is basically the only treatment for PCOS.

Right now, my ovaries are completely failing me. My OBGYN saw a follicle on my right ovary and thinks ovulation might happen in 5 or 6 days—meaning my period should come in about 3 weeks—but we'll see if I actually ovulate.
She gave me some pills to start in 7 days because she wants to give my ovary a chance to ovulate on its own first.

Carol Brooks41: You might want to dig around online and look into phytoestrogens. Maybe there's something worth exploring there... I’ve got a book sitting around that I'll try to comb through, and if I actually stumble upon anything useful, I'll let you know.

Honestly, I’m just a mess.
It’s probably genetic, since both my mom and sister deal with PCOS, though they’ve always had irregular cycles. Mine, on the other hand, have been so predictable you could practically set a watch by them.
I wasn't even worried about it until this happened.

On top of everything else, I’m dealing with an enlarged thyroid and a lump in my breast... now there's yet another thing I have to "get checked every six months."
This whole situation is getting incredibly frustrating.
Man, it feels like I'm constantly running from one doctor's appointment to the next.

Everything about health is just so incredibly messy... your own body, the people you surround yourself with... it’s all tangled up together.

I’ve been sitting here trying to wrap my head around the idea that when a problem finally shows up, maybe we shouldn't just react, but actually stop and ask ourselves what went wrong, why this is happening to us in the first place... and then find a way to stop it from happening again. I mean, focusing on staying healthy instead of just waiting around to get treated feels like it should be the smarter play, right?

The truth is, there is an overwhelming amount of knowledge out there in the world that could actually help us, but it’s just not organized; it’s all scattered everywhere in pieces.

Carol Brooks41, I haven't turned up anything particularly brilliant or even a specific fix for what you're dealing with. Most of the specialists I looked into regarding gynecological issues tend to lean heavily on Kanli supplements—you know, those soy isoflavonoids that basically turn into phytoestrogens once they hit your system—along with their own proprietary versions of calcium and zinc. Anyway, it looks like you might actually find some benefit in just eating more soy, provided you stick to non-GMO 😁 brands instead of the cheap stuff.

Soy isn't actually that healthy on its own, despite what everyone thinks, and frankly, I find it disgusting in any form.

Look, my ovaries have basically quit on me. I'm not ovulating at all, so I don't think I can avoid synthetic hormones this time.
Man, I've felt like I'm going through menopause for the last two days.
I haven't started the pills I was prescribed yet, hoping things might kickstart naturally, but there's been zero progress.
No period yet, and I just feel worse and worse.
