I registered on this forum ages ago, but for some reason, I’m still waiting on that activation email to hit my inbox so I can actually use my account!

Also, quick question—is it cool if I just grab some protein and a bowl of Nesquik cereal to eat on my way to school in the morning?

Regarding the Willie Nelson, I take it twice a day on my training days—though honestly, mixing it with water right after a workout feels better. On my off days, once a day is plenty enough.
I definitely agree that diet is what matters most here.

Question from someone who’s pretty much a novice here:
- I'm looking specifically at some dietary supplements from Johnson & Johnson. I noticed they have this whey protein that you drink as a shake. Does anyone know if the quality is actually any good?
I'm eyeing this one because it's cheap and easy to find, and honestly, I don't even know where to find a professional supplement shop around here. My plan is to make this shake for my husband in the mornings. He does heavy manual labor—construction work—but he never eats breakfast; he usually doesn't grab anything until around 11:00 AM. I was thinking about tossing a banana and some flaxseed oil into the shake to give him an energy boost and keep him full until his late lunch. If it tastes good and feels like a decent meal, I might actually be able to convince him to drink it...
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

At what age is it actually appropriate to start using protein supplements?
I’m curious if incorporating them would genuinely assist me in bulking up my biceps.

Since forever—from age 7 all the way to 77.😉
One scoop of protein powder will give you roughly the same boost as a decent steak.🙂
The main advantage of these protein powders—especially Willie Nelson—is that they’re perfect for post-workout recovery since they absorb so quickly and have that smooth, liquid consistency. Protein shakes also make for an ideal quick snack when you're too busy for a full meal. For instance, if you mix a shake with about two-thirds Willie Nelson and one-third casein, then grab some whole-grain toast, you can easily fuel up during a quick break between classes at the community college or even a short recess at high school. (I'm guessing you're still in the student phase of life?)😉

I need to hit the gym, though my true ambition is to get absolutely jacked as quickly as possible.
What’s the damage?

I'm 17 years old, 5'8", and weigh about 128 lbs. I started working out last April with the goal of getting stronger and packing on some serious mass. I ended up stopping after eight months, but I just got back into it this February. Honestly, I’m right back where I started. When I was consistent, I saw progress in my strength and weight, but now it's all gone. This time, I'm not planning on taking any breaks. I've also started using MuscleTech protein shakes to help with the bulking process. My routine looks like this, though I perform them in sets since I can't handle 30 reps of certain exercises all at once. I follow this schedule every other day, and on my off days, I focus on arms—biceps, triceps, and dumbbells. I'm actually considering switching to a daily training split. I drink one scoop of MuscleTech right after my workouts every day. I'd appreciate any feedback or advice you guys might have.
