come on Felipe, let's go! 🙏

Man, I don't know why there were so few of them out there today, but damn, Ferrari was totally in the zone 😁

Quote: Bradley Nelson2 said:most people agree, while a small minority disagrees. and that minority is wrong.

Most fans consider Senna the GOAT, if you haven't noticed. Personally, I’d put Prost and Alonso right up there with MS, based on what I saw when they were racing—and maybe even some from earlier eras too. MS is sitting at number 4, and he's only slightly ahead of Jack Villeneuve; honestly, in my opinion, they might even be tied.

Oh, really? You could claim St. Peter is the greatest if you felt like it, or even Jure Šebalj. This isn't about personal taste, though. It's about the facts. I wasn't exactly a huge fan of Schumacher either. I preferred Hakkinen, Villeneuve, and Raikkonen, but trying to argue against the RESULTS he achieved is just plain disrespectful. People don't just say he was the best technical driver out there for no reason. We've never seen dominance like his in history. Just look at the numbers:

Wins: Schumacher's victory 91, Prost 51, Senna 41, Villeneuve 11
Fastest Laps: Schumacher's victory 76, Prost 41, Senna 19, Villeneuve 9
Points: Schumacher's victory 1369, Prost 798, Senna 614, Villeneuve 235
Hat Tricks: Schumacher's Hat Trick 22, Prost 8, Senna 7, Villeneuve 2
Titles: Schumacher's title 7, Prost 4 , Senna 3, Villeneuve 1

So go ahead, keep singing about how Jure Šebalj is the greatest of them all.

Most people just default to putting Senna at the top of the GOAT list if you haven't noticed, but honestly, if we're talking about guys I actually sat down and watched drive, I’d put Prost and Alonso right up there alongside MS—and hey, maybe there are some legends from even earlier eras too, who knows... but let's be real, MS is only sitting at number 4, and even then, he's barely edging out Jack Villeneuve, though honestly, that's totally up for debate in my book.

Man, you've gotta be kidding me, I think you completely blanked on Clark.

Arthur Doyle70 said:God forbid I actually attempt to discredit the caliber of Fernando Alonso and Renault 🤣🤣—I was merely offering my own modest perspective

That "bold" claim 🤷 wtf... obviously the chief engineer is going to point out technical flaws; what on earth did you expect, some glowing praise for Heikki's driving skills?

And as for anticipating an error, Massa is practically a master at that specific skill 😂😂😂

Give me a break... Heikki was glued to Alonso's bumper for nine laps before the end, and then he
overtook him in the penultimate lap, so that theory of yours holds plenty of water...

But honestly, I just rewatched that overtake... and I have to say, Alonso went
wide—wider than Heikki did 😂

But seriously...

You can go ahead and criticize Renault all you want because they absolutely earned it...

You could even take a swing at Alonso himself... who's going to stop you?

We're in cyberspace, after all, where absolute freedom is the rule of the land 😁

An overtake is essentially just capitalizing on someone else's mistake...
unless you're significantly faster...

Though, admittedly, one can certainly goad someone into making such a mistake...

The crew absolutely carried him again; he drove just enough to secure the win and called it a day. I've got no complaints, but I'm certainly not handing out any praise for his driving today.

The only real work he did was during the start when he held off Kubica's attacks... If Kimi hadn't messed up while trying to pass Kovalainen, there actually might have been a race to watch.

Oh yeah, I feel terrible for Bouradis—it’s a shame his engine gave out two laps before the end. We'll definitely see him in a top-tier seat next season, and then things will get interesting.

Yeah, they were all over the track. And all around it too 😁

Right, like he's just some reserve driver for a backmarker team.😁

It's the same old story, talking about someone who's already gone👋 bye now, they're gone😂😂😂😂

I guess we're just waiting around again, aren't we? Just sitting here watching the clock tick while nothing actually happens. I can't even begin to process what they're saying right now.
After fifteen years of nothing but pure frustration, you finally get a moment to breathe, so why not just sit back and soak it all in while the world burns? 😁

It’s been a decade and a half, hasn't it? Just feels like yesterday I was sitting on my porch back in Ohio, wondering if things would ever actually change.🤷🤷 I've never really cared much about the drama surrounding the driver, but watching the circus between Ferrari and the FIA? That was just plain embarrassing to witness.

But why even bother getting worked up about it? Like you said, I finally woke up to reality.😁

@ ovac: yeah, facts, the numbers don't lie, but HOLD UP—back in those two or three years during the early 2000s when Ferrari was basically playing a different sport than everyone else, Schu was just absolutely demolishing records. We're talking three titles and like forty wins while there was practically zero competition... I mean, the next fastest guys were trailing him by a full second per lap. Nobody’s ever seen anything like that.
If you took those peak years out of the equation, his career stats would look pretty damn mediocre.

It’s become quite clear during this race that Fernando Alonso is essentially the gold standard for drivers right now.

He’s operating on an entirely different level than everyone else; once you account for him, there’s a massive gap before you even get to Felipe Massa, let alone the rest of the field. 🙏

He was just in a league of his own, leaving everyone else in the dust before eventually being followed by Felipe Massa and then the rest of the pack. 🙏

Felipe Massa???????? Honestly, I wouldn't have been surprised if you'd just said Pope Smurf instead.🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
