A little advice from some older folks
It’s basically the same exact thing that happened when your crew rolled up in two vans and two cars right in front of Hades, on the main drag just a hundred yards short of the stadium. There were about 200 or 250 of us there, and those vans ended up totally trashed, yet you guys didn't even bother to try and make things right. Back in San Francisco, at least we had the decency to hop out of the vans—those two that blew through the light—because we aren't exactly superheroes; there was no way our group of 15 was going to take on 300 of you.

Anonymous said:Greetings,
I have just one question... I heard a rumor that last season you were all out in Newark chanting "wild boars are being slaughtered today" and summoning some sort of "wild boars"?!?!?!?!
I honestly cannot fathom what on earth you think you're accomplishing with that. When I heard it, I couldn't help but laugh. 😂
Wild boars?! 😂 😂 😂 🤣 😍
Where has this scene gone? Threatening people and invoking wild boars—at this rate, we’ll be hearing about the formation of some blue brigade or angels from Cleveland next. 😲 😲
With all due respect, I truly don't understand the appeal.
It seems someone clearly lied to you..

No matter how much we enjoyed ourselves in San Francisco over the last few years, everything came back to haunt us this past Sunday night. Things took a turn for the worse when the police decided to pick up everyone who showed up without a plan and haul them down to Savannah for processing; instead of just a small group, they ended up turning over more than 30 of us.

Just because the weather feels similar right now, I felt like reminding some of you—especially those who weren't around back then—about that one winter in the 99/00 season. There was this massive snowstorm that actually shut down the train service, leaving nearly 200 people stranded who were supposed to be heading out to San Francisco. But, you know how some people are, a few of the most stubborn souls just decided they weren't letting a little blizzard stop them. They set off on foot and actually made it 😎

Anthony Thomas12 said:I was scrolling through some old match reports earlier and stumbled upon this breakdown of that recent game in Seattle, and honestly, it’s just one of those things that makes you want to throw your remote at the wall. You look at how the squad played, or rather, how they failed to play, and it’s almost impressive how much energy can be wasted on such mediocre tactical decisions. The report goes into detail about the atmosphere—which, let's face it, was probably more electric than the actual football on the pitch—but once the whistle blew, everything just fell apart. It’s like watching a slow-motion car crash in the middle of downtown Chicago; you know it's going to end badly, you see the impact coming, but you're just stuck there watching because you can't look away from the chaos. I remember back when I was living in Savannah, we had a local team that played with half the heart this group showed, and they still managed to pull off a win against the heavyweights. There was this one guy, a real character, who used to sit in the front row every single Saturday, shouting himself hoarse, and even he looked disappointed during this match. The technical side of things was a mess. They couldn't find any rhythm, the midfield was basically a sieve, and every time we tried to push forward, it felt like running through waist-deep mud. It's frustrating because you can see the potential lying around there, just waiting to be tapped into, but instead, we get this disorganized, aimless wandering. You see players tripping over their own feet and wondering why the transition isn't working, when the answer is staring them right in the face: they aren't communicating. It's basic stuff, really. If you can't talk to each other on the field, you might as well be playing solo in your backyard. Anyway, I don't mean to go on, but when you see a team with this much talent play this poorly, it's hard to stay quiet. Just another day of hoping for greatness and settling for mediocrity.
It doesn't matter how much we all enjoyed ourselves out in San Francisco over the last few years; everything finally caught up with us this past Sunday night. It all started going downhill when the cops decided to haul everyone who showed up without a plan down to Savannah for some petty processing, and instead of us being a group of over a hundred, they somehow managed to thin us out until there were barely thirty left.
I was right there on the scene, and honestly, it looked like at least 70 people were detained. It was pretty wild—you had some of those hardcore fans sprinting toward a gas station outside of Boise like they were trying to outrun Usain Bolt himself.😁So, basically, the three of us got kicked out because we inflated our numbers down to zero. Just total nonsense, honestly.🙄
So, we ended up trekking all the way from Savannah down to the stadium on our own, just carrying the banners and everything, without any kind of security detail or escort, about half an hour before kickoff.

Then we just rolled from Savannah up to the stadium with our local plates, no escort, just holding our banner, about half an hour before kickoff.
Man, you’ve got your timelines all messed up. What’s being discussed here refers to that last San Francisco showdown back in 2008, when 70 people were detained after a minor scuffle on the road and 35 others showed up by bus. That whole time where the three of us "played tough"😁 happened five years ago http://www.navy-seattle.com/report.php?id=76

Actually, you make a good point; I was also wondering how they counted 70 arrests when it felt like there were way fewer of us down in Savannah. I didn't even show up until the second half of that 2008 game, so my memory of that whole matchup is pretty hazy.

Lawrence Walker27...you sound like some die-hard fan who’s spent way too many years sitting in the bleachers...that’s why I’m honestly baffled by how biased you're being here...is it even possible that we get absolutely wrecked by everyone except our own guys, including the Navy??? People, please, let's have some actual objectivity for once; if we just look back at that one game from 2003 when we were heading down to San Diego, any debate would be totally pointless...
Don't get me wrong, the Navy is a top-tier group, they've been around forever and they've got a hell of a crew (though I haven't hung out with the current lot), but everything has its limits...comparing how people grab banners in Seattle versus San Francisco is just an insult to common sense....

I swear, I haven't laughed this hard in my entire life, and I'm definitely not a kid anymore. People were absolutely losing it, rolling on the floor just like a scene out of a Charlie Chaplin movie.
It went down exactly like this: 🤣

Care to elaborate... in a good way, or what?

Positive.
I don't see why you'd assume anything else.🤷

I mean, I’m just saying... look, we aren't all gonna see eye to eye on this... but man, everything just clicked perfectly when we clinched that title back in '90... honestly, the timing couldn't have been any better.

And that was while we were driving back from Savannah after hitting up some dive bar... you were right there with us, 😉

So, like I said before in a post that someone went ahead and deleted 🙂 who do you think you are anyway?
It wasn’t even this specific game where the Champions blew the title; they lost it a week earlier when they got crushed by Savannah at their home stadium. By the time our match kicked off at 3:00 PM, the guys from New York had already cruised to an easy win, so the whole point of this argument is basically moot.
Now, talking to those folks from Seattle, they keep making excuses about how we had massive numbers in attendance and were still holding onto hope... Look, guys, back then, maybe we hoped Savannah would actually give us a fight like they did the previous week (just like we thought Seattle might actually show up and do something at the stadium two weeks prior, but they just sat there getting tossed around without even drawing a single foul 😕).
One last question for the Navy:
Why didn't you just write "CHAMPIONS" at the end of your message right away?
It’s pretty obvious whose backside you're all trying to crawl into—the same people who robbed and screwed you over back in '99. You proved it with that sick celebration after Sherbiniev's second goal and how much you clearly didn't care about the rest of that meaningless game.

Hajduk didn't blow the title during that game—they blew it the week before losing to Savannah at their home stadium. By the time we kicked off at 3:00 PM, the other guys had already cruised past some local squad, so by the time our match started, it was basically over... makes the whole point feel pretty pointless...
Now, talking to those folks from Seattle, they’re making excuses about how huge our crowd was and how we were still hoping... man, back when things were actually moving, maybe we hoped Savannah would give us a real fight like they did last week (just like we hoped Seattle might show up at the stadium two weeks ago, but they just sat there taking hits without even getting a yellow card 😕)...
One last question for the Navy:

It's obvious whose ass you're trying to kiss—the same people who screwed you over back in '99... you proved it with that sick celebration after Sherbiniev's second goal and that meaningless ending to the game.
Always feels good to show who the real masters of the coast are... 😁 So what you wrote doesn't mean anything. We made our feelings clear enough with our own posts.

because it's obvious whose ass you're trying to kiss—the same people who robbed and screwed us back in '99... which you proved with that sick celebration after Sherbiniev's second goal and that whole meaningless game.
First off... you'd be doing the exact same thing if the roles were reversed... don't know why you're seeing it differently, but hey—whatever makes you feel better.
Second... nothing beats winning a rivalry game in the 90th minute. Period.
Thanks for the reminder about '99—clearly we all forgot—I mean, it was just some random championship title, right?
