The sentiment is fair enough.👍

But they really were quite endearing...

A wonderful release from the navy.👍

That might have been true once upon a time, but believe me—not by a long shot.

Peter Williams91 said:That’s exactly the difference. People hate us because we’re genuinely at the top of the game when it comes to supporters. I remember back in Seattle, the whole town—young and old alike—was fired up. You'd hear people shouting, "Man, watch out, those Cows are coming for us! Someone needs to take them down!" It's honestly just pure insecurity on their part. 😁

I’ve been thinking lately about how much people struggle with their own insecurities. It’s funny how often we let those deep-seated complexes drive our actions without even realizing it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

George Lopez77 said:Don't be like that, my friend... we’ll end up making excuses just like the Cowboys do whenever they claim teams aren't even worth playing because they aren't real competition. Seattle will always be Seattle, and they remain our biggest rival right after Real Madrid, so I’m always going to show more respect to a Seattle side sitting at 10th place than, say, the Gladiator, who happens to be sitting in 2nd right now.

You haven't misunderstood me at all. Of course, I agree that Seattle is our primary rival after Real Madrid. My point was simply to compare the coastal derbies in St. and Seattle. It seems to me that they take us far more seriously than we ever bother to take them, which isn't particularly surprising.

@anarchist1912
Regarding the Fleet and their previous showings in Miami, one could argue that what happened yesterday represented some level of progress. As I mentioned before, they are exactly where they deserve to be, but to suggest that yesterday's performance was anything close to great would be, frankly, laughable.

Advice? You want advice? Honestly, where do we even start with that? It’s such a loaded word—everyone thinks they have a piece of wisdom to drop on you, don't they? As if life were some sort of instructional manual you could just flip through to find the "correct" way to handle things. But fine, let's talk about it. If you're looking for a roadmap, you might be disappointed because most people are just driving around aimlessly themselves. Are you asking because you're stuck, or are you just looking for someone to validate whatever questionable decision you've already made? Because there's a massive difference between seeking guidance and seeking permission. One requires actual thought; the other is just an ego stroke. So, what’s the situation? Lay it out. But don't expect me to sugarcoat it—I'm not here to hold your hand through the process. Give me the facts, leave out the drama, and let's see if there's actually anything worth discussing. The user says:
That’s exactly where the difference lies—they hate us because we are hands down the gold standard when it comes to fan culture. It wasn't just a few people; the entire city of Seattle showed up—young kids, old-timers, everyone. "Man, you don't get it, the Cows are coming for us... kill the cows, damn them, I hate those guys." Honestly? Those guys are just incredibly insecure. 😁

It’s always the same story—as soon as you fail to beat us, suddenly everyone’s an expert. But the second you actually pull off a win? Oh, then the talking starts. Then comes all that pathetic whining about how we’re this "mighty club" that they’re constantly stepping on. It’s honestly exhausting. Don't even get me started—it’s the exact same nonsense you see from the Real Madrid fans...

There was this photo from the Rose Bowl showing how "grandpa" teaches his grandkids: hate Real Madrid, love the Yankees. It wasn't an accident that the slogan used to be "hate Real Madrid" first. The picture was actually in the paper, highlighting the rivalry between the Yankees and Real Madrid at the Rose Bowl. I don't know, maybe the old man scanned it just to show how much they love the Yankees more than they actually hate Real Madrid. Honestly, writing stuff like that about any group or any city is just nonsense; people should really look at their own backyard before judging others.

With all due respect to what the Fleet used to be—back when they were still drawing strength from those former Ultras members—honestly, there’s no use sitting around feeling sorry for yourselves... you just need to get to work. Seriously! You could have ten different crews like this one traveling down from Miami to Seattle right now, and every single one of them would be eating your lunch... and I don't mean that metaphorically, either! Just work, work, work, work... we're talking pure productivity here. Our cities are roughly the same size, our regions are pretty much identical... so, please, let's just focus on the grind instead of all this constant complaining and fighting... it's exhausting! Anyway, sending my best to the Fleet...

Decent enough edition, nothing to write home about... but man, that choreography looked absolutely ridiculous given how many people were there 🤣

Back in the day, Seattle used to be crawling with Cows, and you’d see entire crowds heading out to celebrate a Yankees win. We used to go head-to-head in massive clashes before we finally took control of the main river (it wasn't like Miami, where half the city is actually rooting for the Yankees😁). Honestly, this tension between us is totally natural, and I actually enjoy it—it adds some much-needed flavor to the game. If every match had this kind of energy instead of just three or four times a year (like when the Yankees play Real Madrid or Real Madrid plays the Yankees), things would be boring. As for those posts about hating the Ultras or being obsessed with Seattle, I’m not even going to dignify them with a response.🙄

I’m not gonna get all worked up about it because I actually think the Fleet is a solid group, mostly because of their vibe and that unique style they've always had...
The thing is, are you even aware of what kind of nonsense you just typed out? What "insecurities" are we even talking about, seriously? And what "chance" did we have? You guys have dedicated choreographies to us so many times that I honestly just take it as a sign of respect and admiration—it couldn't be anything else...
Anthony Thomas12 is basically one of the biggest clueless fans out there, so his rambling isn't really worth a response... as for the sub-groups, clearly that's something that eats at certain people... look, we're the Ultras, and there are hardly any groups in all of Europe that have sub-groups like we do, that's a fact. One of those Fleets knows that pretty well. Cheers...

It is sheer madness; the whole city still hasn't quite recovered from that exchange... you certainly left your mark on them, didn't you?👍

Everyone admits you people go overboard with your posts—all this and that. But honestly, my dear friend, that "may your efforts be rewarded" remark was a slap in the face upon a slap in the face; it was truly the pinnacle of everything said. And I wonder, why do you think it was specifically directed at your group?😁.😉

Look, the reality in America is pretty simple: we have two massive clubs, which means we have two elite supporter groups that operate on a completely different level than everyone else. It’s just the way it is. The Ultras and the BBB are top-tier groups in all of Europe. Honestly, I find it hilarious—and honestly kind of pathetic—when they try to call out other American fan groups for their numbers...

Let's be real here. For the Yankees, you really only see the die-hards in Miami, and even then, it's not like the whole city is wearing the gear—it's more like one specific pocket of fans rather than a mix of different club supporters. If you tried to transplant those Ultras over to Seattle? Same story. Maybe there'd be a few more or a few less, but that's the extent of it.

It’s easy to talk trash about how many people show up when basically half the country is backing your team. Meanwhile, the groups you're picking on only have their own city behind them—and even then, they don't even own the whole damn place, let alone a city bigger than Miami or Washington, D.C.

If you weren't there, honestly, you missed out big time. We headed down from the South of America and came back with a hard-earned point in our pockets. It was chaos—shoving, people being dragged away, cops making threats—but none of that stopped us. About 150 of us, the most die-hard Seattle fans you’ll ever meet, gathered at the Rose Bowl in Miami just to make sure our boys heard us loud and clear.

Right in the middle of the first half, the Ultras started up with their usual predictable whining against the local city hall, and the Fleet shut them down immediately. We threw up banners basically telling them they have nobody to blame but themselves. Something along the lines of: "The Mayor calls himself a man of the people, but the people are acting like complete idiots!"

Because some of the group got held up, we didn't pull out the choreography until the 60th minute. We covered the entire visiting section with massive versions of about ten of our own scarves. Then we hoisted these huge banners with lyrics from one of our songs: "BLUE AND WHITE IS THE FINEST COLOR, THE COLOR OF THE MASTERS FROM THE SEA." A few flares went off spontaneously too—maybe four or five—with some of them landing right on the turf.

Even when the Yankees scored around the 70th minute, we didn't lose hope. Not for a second. And then, boom, 88th minute, we hit the equalizer. The stadium went dead silent for a moment before the south side absolutely erupted. Pure madness. Singing, rituals, flags waving everywhere, people hanging off the railings... those are the moments that remind you why, after all these years, we still bleed for Seattle...

It's easy to mock someone's size when half the country supports your team, while the people you're criticizing only have their own city (and even that isn't fully behind them), especially since those cities are smaller than Miami or Washington, D.C.

For God's sake, if Real Madrid were from Appalachia, how many city dwellers would there be in Seattle? You guys are talking nonsense; for them, the biggest derby or the most intense away game involves maybe 100 people.

How much nonsense can both sides actually produce?
The sheer amount of hate, jealousy, and other garbage you only find on a sports fan forum is staggering.
Some obsess over inferiority complexes,🤷 others over attendance numbers, and some dive into nationalism, and so on.
Don't you realize that everyone—every single one of you—just makes us all look pathetic with posts and comments like these?
Just be yourselves. Love your team, cheer for them, follow them, and ignore this mindless internet bickering. Just be fans.

The Fleet was incredible yesterday; they sent a real message with those numbers.
We were right there with them too. We're going strong, and this generation has so much more to give. Once things start going south for the opposition, I can only imagine what's coming... and it'll be soon.

Ultras!

I’ll admit everything else, but I have to disagree on the turnout; honestly, there just weren't enough people for a headlining gig within a single year, let alone in a place like a small town in the Midwest.

Honestly, I’m having a hard time believing that from a "completely revitalized city," only 100 people show up for the game of the year. Don't give me that crap—either back up your claims with actual facts or just stop talking.🙂
