You've got a point, you guys were the first ones to leak it. Haven't heard the song, but I saw the flags on two poles. Regardless of whether it's original, we should note it wasn't ripped from us, considering the song was pushed by some guy who showed up dead drunk to Central Park at 35 years old and started singing "oh man, I feel terrible."
mellowhawk34 said:Look, let's cut the crap—are you telling me any drunk idiot who wanders in can just push a song through just because they're over 35? Is that what we're doing now, playing the respect card or something?
It’s like it doesn't even matter if the Boys, Tornado, or Demons are the ones singing it; if some guy shows up wasted and things go wild at Grace's place, suddenly that's totally fine, right? It doesn't matter if it was spontaneous🙄, yet you're the first one talking trash about Cohort for copying your Apocalypse, when what makes you think things weren't just spontaneous on their end too?
If someone heard your tracks and thought, "Hey, let's rip this off because those guys sound like hardcore, real fans,"🤷🤣
Maybe dial back the ego a little bit, because like the saying goes: "the higher they fly, the harder they fall"
And honestly, the Demons hit rock bottom a long time ago; now they're just flapping their wings and making noise whenever they get the chance😍

There’s a massive difference between just "copying" someone and lacking any sense of originality. We really strive to be unique, and honestly, I think we nail it—we're probably the best out there when it comes to coming up with our own songs, choreography, and supporter stunts. Even if we occasionally pick up a chant or an idea that’s popped up in another American stadium or even over in Europe, it’s just one isolated thing. With some other groups, it isn't just one song or flag; it's dozens of anthems and identical details that they've lifted.
Regarding the Cohort, I know some things weren't exactly spontaneous. I traveled with them to Bulgaria for the national team game, and they were practically obsessed with a certain "Oh, how I love Cleveland..." tune, only to turn it into a full-blown song shortly after. In their documentary, you even hear an older member say, "When we were picking a name, Armada meant a naval fleet, so we decided to go with a land-based version," and they even used the same font on their drums. So, yeah, there was likely some copying going on in the early days, and they’ve faced plenty of teasing about it since people caught on. I don't want to single out the Cohort too harshly, though; lately, they’ve been pretty original themselves, especially with those remixes of regional American songs that you now only hear in their section.
On the flip side, I'm 99% sure Mr. Ajmemeninijemidobro has never even heard of that Tornado flag, and as for that specific chant they sing, I doubt anyone has ever heard it before...

And while we're at it, regarding that song... I have no clue who first snuck it into the stands, but people have been singing it forever. It's been noted before that they've been singing it in the West for ages, so why on earth should we stop now?

Jose Vaughn3 said:I have to hand it to the Armada—their energy was something else. Honestly, watching yesterday’s game was worth it just for the atmosphere... hearing those fans singing in the background was pure bliss. Great turnout, too, and they didn't stop cheering for a single second. I truly hope you guys can knock Hajduk off their perch and somehow manage to be the best this year—if that's even possible—but let's be real here... I haven't had a dream that optimistic in a long time. Cleveland isn't exactly a title contender; we're looking at a solid finish somewhere between third and fifth place, at most.
Jose Vaughn3 said:Kudos to the Armada for that performance—honestly, watching yesterday's game was a joy just because of the fans in the background. Great numbers and solid energy throughout the whole match.I hope you guys knock Hajduk off their perch and manage to be better this year—maybe even take first place if you can pull it off—but I have my doubts. To be blunt, Cleveland isn't exactly a title contender; reality puts us somewhere between third and fifth.
urbanhawk10 said:😁 You gotta be, right? Personally, I'm pulling for San Francisco to make it into the big leagues again this year too. The Armada 👍 was actually pretty decent today (at least watching it on TV).
Terry Fisher49 said:Come on now—don't go taking it personally😁 everything will turn out fine 😁
Basically, the main thing is to keep this momentum going—both the energy in the stands and the performance on the pitch. Honestly, I’m almost afraid to think what things will look like at Cleveland when Hajduk visits, especially if Cleveland keeps pulling off these wins... ☕
Until then, all this bickering about who did what and where... it just doesn't make any sense.
Particularly not coming from groups with the intensity of Demon, Vinski Musica, or the Boys...🤷
