SA Cleveland—honestly, you could at least try to get the spelling right. 🙄

That's just how they talk. 😉

I don't know how Americans phrase it, but honestly, it was definitely the right call to go. From Cleveland.. 🙂

Why does it always happen? Every single time after a big rivalry game, there are always two or three people looking to nitpick every little detail just to discredit everyone else. They go looking for any excuse to trash the hard work people put in—people who spent days bleeding for those choreographies—simply because they weren't part of the group. Why can't they just let it be?

Look, I’m not trying to devalue anyone’s hard work—personally, I thought the choreography was pretty lackluster—but this is a forum. It’s basically here to mess around. Why shouldn't we poke a little fun at the sheer lack of literacy on display? 😁

That aside, it was an incredible atmosphere at the derby. Honestly, I’m actually surprised by how many of us showed up after that trip to Athens. 👍

I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. Did you mean to send something else?A Seriously, "rek"? You could at least try to check your spelling before hitting send. 🙄

That's just how they talk over there. :

🤦

Forget grammar rules! You’re seriously going to lecture me about spelling when we're talking about Cleveland??? 🤣
When does it come out? I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. Did you mean to send something else? It’s like that one letter... you know, like an R, an S, or an Š... everyone is talking about it, saying it, writing it everywhere. I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. Did you mean to send something else?...
Who even gives a damn about those grammar rules?🙄
And besides, that's how the lyrics go. When it comes to songs, who really cares about perfect grammar? Especially when you ask the fans... right?😉

The choreography isn't exactly groundbreaking, but honestly? It’s pretty solid.👍👍,
I actually think that song is great, even if it's just that same old melody used by River Plate...
Honestly, I’d much rather see these kinds of choreographed displays than those "traveling circuses" like Basel or Rapid... you know the ones.

The flares look pretty good, honestly. Even those yellow ones? Yeah, they look alright. 😲 I haven't seen that over here yet...

That fence is definitely the best one I've seen yet... but what's the deal with Campetto? I noticed they had that same transparent setup over in Vinkovci too. 🤷

Screw grammar! You're seriously bringing up spelling rules regarding Cleveland??? 🤣
Whenever you have a word ending in s followed by a letter like R, S, or Sh... everyone just naturally says sA...
And honestly, who actually gives a damn about those formal grammar rules anyway? 🙄
Besides, song lyrics work that way too, and when it comes to songs, grammar "doesn't matter"—especially if you ask any actual fans...😉

The choreography isn't exactly groundbreaking, but it's pretty solid👍👍,
(For what it's worth, I love that song, even if it uses that melody from River Plate...)
It's definitely better than those "traveling circuses" like Basel or Rapid...

The flares look alright, and seeing them with yellow flares 😲 is something I haven't seen around here yet...

The fencing looks like the best one yet... but what on earth is CAMPETTO? I noticed they had that same banner over in Vinkovci, too. 🤷

I’m curious how everyone feels about the "Cleveland United" slogan—whether people actually buy into it or if it just triggers some sort of insecurity. From my perspective, it’s a straightforward, unambiguous message from the fans, without all that excessive, over-the-top fluff...

Furthermore, I’m aware that in the States, there are really only two stadiums where you could pull off a full-stand choreography like that (excluding the away section) and have it actually look decent. That says something about the collective awareness of us Clevelanders...

They might as well have written "together with Rek" for all the good it does. Who actually gives a damn about grammar rules anymore? 😁

The choreography was actually pretty killer, seriously, props to everyone who put in the work there... though I gotta say, the energy from the crowd felt a little flat, especially during the second half. Maybe it’s just me, maybe I missed something, but it felt a bit low-key...
Raymond Gonzalez, look, you usually post some solid stuff, but did you really have to go full psycho and write an entire manifesto here? Just give me one actual reason why a Los Angeles Dodgers fan would have some deep-seated complex regarding Cleveland or the armada. Other than the fact that you guys have always been way better at throwing rocks—which, hey, I've got my own issues with that too...

The choreography was alright, nothing to write home about, but fine enough...
As for the flares... TOP TIER. Hats off to them.
Your cheering was weak considering how the last few derbies went. You guys knew better. Much better.

And I saw someone online claiming Igloo deserved the win and that we shouldn't be complaining about the refs. Well, here’s the game footage. I’d highly recommend everyone watch how that absolute clown of a ref handled things. It’s criminal. A textbook example of the worst officiating of a half I've ever seen. There was a 100% clear offside call missed against the Dodgers, then two IDENTICAL fouls on our players—just like that one on Ananas—IDENTICAL, people, and he doesn't even pull out a card. Not to mention when two of your guys collided heads; if Ananas had been just a second slower, his leg would've been snapped into four pieces. It was a disaster. If you don't believe me, just watch.

And despite being down a man, we kept you pinned for the entire first half and controlled the flow.

Credit to the players, though. Nobody expected them to show this kind of grit, especially after the AEK match, combined with our numbers and the way the crowd showed up in the second half...

The real issue is that for the last 15 years, every single group across America has been stuck on that same anthem, GAM GAM, by Maria Pilat.

Nobody has actually evolved or even tried to move past it.

I will say though, I always thought that little joke the Armadež used to sing at the start of the second half was pretty funny.

But those flares? ABSOLUTE FIRE. Major props there.
Your cheering was pretty weak compared to previous derbies; you guys definitely know how to bring it better than that.

And then I see someone post that Igron deserved the win and we shouldn't be complaining about the refs. Seriously? Just watch the replay. I’d highly recommend everyone take a look at how that absolute clown of a ref handled things—it was criminal, just a classic example of the worst half of officiating I've ever seen. There was a 100% clear offside call against the Dodgers that he missed, and then TWO IDENTICAL fouls on our players—just like that one on Ananas—IDENTICAL, people! And not even a single card shown. Not to mention when two of your guys collided heads; if Ananas had been a second slower, he would've ended up with a broken leg in four pieces. It was a total disaster. If you don't believe me, just watch.

And on top of all that, even playing a man down, we had you guys pinned the entire half and controlled the tempo.

Huge respect to the players. We weren't even expecting this kind of grit, especially after the AEK game, combined with our numbers and the way the fans showed up in the second half..

What are you even talking about? Were you actually at the game or were you sitting in a police station? 🤷
Who else hits the woodwork? You had 100% scoring chances; you only escaped without conceding because of pure luck and those jerks who act like Strok in Vinkovci.
Regardless, you guys stuck to the truth, and honestly, you pay double what we do. Your turnout is the biggest I've seen since I started going to Dodger Stadium despite the constant bickering.

The photo of the choreo was just something uploaded quickly last night; the whole stadium was covered in it. We're waiting for the official shots to show what the guys have been working on for days—massive respect to them. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

They hit the woodwork. It was a 100% chance. You guys only escaped because of pure luck... if it weren't for those idiots running things back in Indianapolis...
By the way, you claim to hold onto the truth, yet you're getting paid twice what we are. Your crowd is easily the largest I've seen since I started going to games, despite all the nonsense...

The photo of the choreo is just a quick snap from last night. The whole stadium was covered in it. We're waiting on the official shots so everyone can see the work those guys put in for days. Respect to them...🙏🙏 🙏 🙏

From that section, you can't see a damn thing. It’s worse than the nosebleeds at an old stadium...
Watch the video. Then you'll see everything I'm talking about.

I'm not saying we outplayed you on the pitch—far from it. But given how things went down, we were tougher, more decisive... true grit... 😉

Raymond Gonzalez, you usually write rather insightful posts, so was it truly necessary to bring up "complexes"? Please, give me one single reason why a Kansas City Chiefs fan would harbor a complex toward Seattle or San Francisco? Aside from the fact that you've always been superior at stone-throwing—which, by the way, gives me a complex too...

If someone has a complex, whether they are a supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs or from Napa Valley... I am certainly not targeting anyone in particular... and complexes vary wildly, ranging from someone being bothered by our specific dialectal quirks to someone being annoyed because we once had a mandatory straight path instead of turning right or left, or some other triviality... that is all...

As for the stones, I have seen plenty of them scattered across California, Washington, D.C., and even out in the Midwest, along with bricks and beer mugs, so there is no reason for anyone to feel insecure... there is no need for such things... if I may quote Jesus: "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone."

Raymond Gonzalez said:If someone’s out here nursing some kind of massive inferiority complex—whether they're die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fans or just obsessed with their local Vineyard—I’m not pointing fingers at anyone in particular, obviously... but man, the hang-ups are wild. It ranges from people getting all worked up over tiny grammatical quirks to people losing their minds because we used to have one specific way of doing things, like having a single mandatory direction instead of choosing left or right, or whatever other niche grievance they've cooked up to feel important. Just saying.

Look, when it comes to stones, I’ve seen it all—from the rocky coasts of California to the urban sprawl of Washington, D.C., and even out through the heart of Midwest Brick. Honestly, you’ve got zero reason to feel insecure about this stuff; nobody should be feeling self-conscious. It’s just how things are. To wrap this up, I’ll just lean on that old line from Jesus: "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone."

👍...
I gotta tell you, though, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart... I’ve traveled all over the country following the Kansas City Chiefs, and I swear, nowhere else—especially not in MLS—have I ever dealt with that kind of pathetic, cowardly stone-throwing coming out of the shadows. It’s been happening basically every single time for the last twenty years or so... actually, let's call it seventeen. Just constant, low-life nonsense.

It’s the same story for you guys as it was last year when we snatched that win in the 91st minute.

Honestly, you all should've just started singing some depressing blues song, because I don't see any point in celebrating until you're sitting there in the 89th minute after conceding a goal and losing the game...

mistycanyon2 said:The bench—that drawing in the middle—what’s the deal with that?

Halubje is actually the name of our hometown—it's this area on the western edge of the San Francisco outskirts. It's famous for the Halubje Bell Ringers, who carry bells on their backs to ward off any evil coming our way, according to local legend. That drawing on the bench is meant to be the bell—a symbol for the Bell Ringers and a tradition that's been going on for hundreds of years.
