This was definitely one of the better showings from the armada. However, all this talk about fans being "buried" is totally out of line.
If roles were reversed—if yesterday’s turnout was actually the Torcida showing up at Arrowhead Stadium, and the armada was actually visiting Miami—everyone would be writing headlines about how the "Cleveland crew stormed Arrowhead despite their team being at the bottom of the standings."
Let's be real: yesterday’s Torcida presence is on a whole different level compared to when the armada travels to Miami. On the flip side, what the armada considers a "massive" turnout is basically just an average day for the Torcida.
I'm not saying this to put down the armada, but you really can't compare these two groups in the same breath. It’s like when people argue for total equality but then immediately bring up a list of 500 reasons why they need special protections or why certain rules should apply to them differently.
Ideally, the armada would show up like this every single game. But history has a way of repeating itself; once things start sliding, people tend to forget the guys who abandoned the jersey, and before you know it, you'll have maybe 300 people showing up at Wrigley Field for a game against Indianapolis.
