A little critique regarding the neighbors: the choreography and the message feel unoriginal—nothing we haven't seen before, just more drama over Europe, the Gulf Coast, or even messages about Detroit... but applause for the effort.

No need for any intervention, but it gave me a clear view and sound of the demons. About 250 of them, surprisingly many kids included, though the number isn't huge since their trip was sponsored (travel and tickets $10). They were thunderous for the first few minutes—I honestly thought they might outshout the Armada—then stayed solid, but faded in the second half. The flares weren't bad; some had great bursts, even if they burned out fast. Most of their songs are actually covers of Armada tracks, which I didn't even realize until yesterday.
The downside is they all arrived under police escort in four buses. I expected more from them. It’s funny how the internet skews things; in my opinion, the guys from Karlovčan had a better showing at Miami than the demons did.
Armada was solid. Great choreography. Two flare displays: the first was a warm-up, the second was really good. Cheering was good in the first half, okay in the second. Up in the central section, both groups were hard to hear during the second half...
🤦🤦🤦
Man, you need help. You've completely missed the point of what it means to be a fan and support your club...

Look, when I run into supporters around town before a game, I never mess with them, not even the hardcore fans—even if we have the numbers. Last time we ran into seven or eight of those guys, we ended up grabbing one of their bandanas and giving them a quick slap. But at Santa Monica, there’s just no way anyone should be getting up to cause trouble when the opposing team scores. Besides, I was also just walking by to talk some trash to the Grayson crowd because I haven't forgotten some of the things they've said.
You really think you're something, don't you? A real die-hard fan with 120 away games under your belt, yet instead of being in the supporter section, you're watching a different group from the main stands.
I already explained why I went to the main stands. I've been in the west section for over 200 games; the club isn't going to fall apart if I miss one spot. I was in the supporter section for all three previous California matches. One year there were over 200 of you shouting our greetings, the next year you didn't show up at all, and then when you got back into the league, there were about 150-200 of you.
Everything was covered for us—travel, tickets, health insurance, social security. Now we're fighting for heated seats in the stadiums.
If the Seattle folks let you into the stands without a ticket, then it wasn't sponsored.
All the songs are copies...
The songs are either copies of our own anthems or just songs that everyone sings. I can only recall two blatant plagiarisms: "Go California," which is clearly your take on our "Forza Seattle," or that cover of our "On the West, Our Youth"...
As for the kids, you probably just spun around the stands and saw how many of them there actually are.
I've stated my impression and that's that; other than the part about your travel being sponsored, I haven't been wrong about anything.

You’re seriously delusional if you think you can juggle two things at once 🤣. You seem to have a real knack for remembering those old Oracle stats from back when we played in Santa Monica—especially that season when we finally fought our way back into the big leagues and pulled in 150-200. What happened? Were you blackout drunk or just too short to actually see anything 👍
If that's your logic, then every single song ever written is a plagiarism. And I don't even know what you consider "kids" here... but let's be real, there wasn't even ten people under 18 there
You still haven't explained to me how the Gademz crew managed to pull off a better turnout at Santa Monica than we did?

Look, I wasn't actually inside the stadium because, with all those protests going on, we were hanging out right outside the gates during the first half. I remember things getting pretty heated—those Oracle guys were stirring the pot, but once the crowd from the east side started charging toward the fence, they quieted down real fast. It’s entirely possible there were more than 200 of you there at that time, though.
That was the one time you guys actually showed up in force, way more than you have now in '96, and then you didn't show up at all the following seasons.
If you look at it that way, then every song ever written is a plagiarism, and honestly, I don't know what you consider "kids"... but frankly, I don't think there were even ten people under the age of 18 there...
you still haven't really explained to me why Gademz had a better turnout at Santa Monica than we did?
There were fewer of them compared to your lot, but they held their own and cheered just as loud, and since you guys were all geared up against us and considered a more respected group, I guess I was just expecting more.
#1887 ·
A few messages, some flares, more people showing up. You were expecting a massive turnout, weren't you?
Thanks a lot. So, I guess you actually think highly of us when we "underperform."

Demon, I watched that clip you guys posted from the stadium, and man, I was pretty shocked by how many songs on your terrace are just straight-up rip-offs. Besides those other ones we talked about, you’re out there chanting "Go Istra, Go," and I’m almost certain the Ultras were the first ones to butcher that "Go, Eating, Go" line.
I get that there are fewer and fewer copies coming from the European supporter scenes lately, but honestly, it’s just lame when you’re ripping off tunes that have already been played to death in the American scene!
You guys have a ton in common with your "friends" over in St. Louis 😁
But hey, regardless of all that, the atmosphere at the stadium was awesome.

Look, I still don't get which songs you're actually talking about. Just don't give me some vague title because I won't recognize it anyway. Either drop a video link or tell me exactly when one of those "plagiarized" tracks you're obsessed with plays on our channel.

I could list the names for you, but honestly, digging up clips right now is just too much work. If anyone else feels like doing it, go ahead.
But hey, you still haven't given me a straight answer regarding the Ultras.
#1892 ·
don't the Demon fans have their own dedicated thread? they do. you know exactly what that implies. thanks 🙂

The "Eating forward" song? I remember hearing that on TV back in the day, and the rhythm was totally off compared to ours. Our chants aren't some cheap imitation; we just shout two words for our club. Go Istra go!!
Send me a DM about those songs of yours and I'll try to figure them out myself.
@wiredfalcon2/">@@wiredfalcon2 we're talking about the Demon songs being supposedly ripped from Armadin, so it fits the topic perfectly.

Lawrence Walker27, when Istra made their comeback in the top tier of the HNL demon, there were about 50 people at Kantrida... so much for your supposed objectivity...👍

Look, I already told you, I wasn't even at the stadium for that game because I was out there protesting. But man, looking back, that was over nine years ago now. Time just slips through your fingers, doesn't it?

I was just sitting here thinking about how much things have shifted lately, you know? It’s like everything moves at such a frantic pace now, but then you look back and realize we haven't actually moved forward at all. I was grabbing a coffee near downtown Seattle the other day—just one of those quiet mornings where you can actually hear yourself think—and I started reflecting on how some people just refuse to see the bigger picture. They get so caught up in these tiny, insignificant details that they miss the entire forest for the trees. It reminds me of that one time I tried to explain a simple concept to my cousin, who honestly couldn't focus if his life depended on it, and he just kept circling back to the most irrelevant point imaginable. It’s exhausting, really. You try to have a rational conversation, something grounded in reality, and suddenly you're fighting against someone's sheer stubbornness. It feels like that's becoming the norm lately, doesn't it? Everyone has an opinion, everyone thinks they've cracked the code, but when you peel back the layers, there's nothing there but noise. It makes you wonder if anyone is actually listening anymore, or if we're all just shouting into the void, hoping someone echoes our own sentiment back to us. Anyway, I'm probably just rambling now, but it's been on my mind all morning. kaže:
Are you actually one of those guys who stands in the center stands right by the visitor section at every single game, just constantly flipping them off? 🤷
I can't even remember the last time I actually set foot in the downtown area—honestly, looking back at the last ten years, I think I’ve only made the trip once.

I can't agree with that. We might have been in the crowd somewhere, but there wasn't any choreography or flares. Still, give us a break—we're still the new kids on the block.🙂
