Alright, you demons, you're clearly such legendary hooligans that no group in America, Europe, or South America could ever hope to compete with you. Are you happy now? 😍

Was anyone from the hometown crowd at that friendly match back in 2000 or 2001?

And second, why blame the coach when both the Lakers and the Warriors are struggling? I’m not trying to defend him, but he isn't the one at fault here....plus, the local supporters are definitely better than those Boys...

What just happened? Some random European guest appearance? A meeting at some random rest stop?? For over 20 years now, there’s always been someone claiming to be better than those boys. Out of nowhere. Every single day it's someone else, just a constant loop, and once you hit the end, you're right back at square one. There's zero point even bringing this up.

God, it’s hilarious how much those little blogs and all that other mindless trash really go to our heads, isn't it? Just look at us, absolutely inflating our own egos based on nothing but internet noise. 😍 At least our local hacks haven't spent years running around like absolute clowns, have they? 🤣 And don't even get me started on them dragging us for traveling to visit their crowd out in Chicago—as if they haven't been nowhere near our territory for two whole years! They’ve spent the last year dealing with all those internal shakeups and power struggles within their own group, yet somehow, they managed to scrape together two people to show up here this year. 😂
Taylor Doyle52 said:Back when I was serving in the military in '92, saying I supported Seattle earned me some pretty strange looks, but nowadays the whole sentiment has flipped, and honestly, I’m just embarrassed by those local parasites who live off this city every single day only to spit on it by rooting for teams from the other side of the country just because of some tribal, genetic connection. But that’s a conversation for another time...
Jason Brooks5 said:Does the city of Seattle hand out more welfare checks than any other city in America, making its residents obligated by default to support the local team out of pure pity and respect, or is there some other ridiculous logic at play here? Look, nobody hands me my bread on a silver platter; I earn it with my own two hands, working my tail off, paying my taxes, and fulfilling my duties to the state, which means I can cheer for whoever I damn well please—and that’s none of your business! Once you finally realize that all your life's frustrations aren't actually the fault of Georgians, Californians, Floridians, Midwesterners, or Plainsmen... trust me, life will be a whole lot easier, so why don't you just mind your own business and stop talking such nonsense? 😉
Taylor Doyle52 said:Don't be ridiculous; I never said you couldn't root for another team—that would be insane—I was specifically talking about harboring actual hatred toward the city and the club in Seattle. I have plenty of friends who cheer for all sorts of different teams, and it doesn't bother me one bit that they happen to be from elsewhere because, honestly, nobody is responsible for their heritage or where they were born. But when someone actually lives in a city they claim to despise, surely you'll allow me to look down on them? Whether they are in Washington, D.C. or Warsaw, it's the same thing. I have nothing but respect for decent people, but hating your own surroundings and refusing to embrace the culture of the place you've settled into is something truly contemptible, and I will always call that out. On top of that, when someone struts around town flaunting the symbols of another place, exploiting the city's tolerance just to demonstrate how clueless they are... well, isn't that basically the "No Pasaran" moment? As far as I'm concerned, those types should just head back to whatever stadium they came from, and I can guarantee nobody is going to miss them.
Jason Brooks5 said:You cleaned up your act pretty fast there, so I’m actually siding with most of the people in this thread.
I can't tell if you just phrased things poorly in your last post or if you were just rushing through it, but man, what you wrote was straight-up nonsense! 😉
Personally, I could never go against my own hometown; honestly, it’s just pointless to talk trash about Seattle, D.C., or Indianapolis while you're actually living in one of them. If someone can't show love for the city where they spent their formative years, made all their lifelong friends, and probably fell in love... well, then that person is just incredibly vain, not to mention a bit of a freak or just plain weird. And let me tell you, the guys from The 12th Man who have moved away to live in other cities still hold massive respect for wherever they call home now, regardless of the fact that they’ve taken a few hits in the stands or had to deal with some heavy fines whenever they head back to catch a Boston Red Sox game. 😉 So, hey, if I'm off base here, feel free to set me straight, fellas.
On the flip side, it’s totally fair—and honestly, a huge part of being a fan—to scream at the top of your lungs against rival clubs. You yell at the Red Sox, I’ll yell at Seattle, the Yankees, or Indy... we're fans, we aren't delicate little flowers. And the fact that a club from a city that isn't even much bigger than your Seattle manages to pull in a massive army of supporters and fans all across the United States is a whole different story, because as crazy as it sounds, the Red Sox were and always will be a massive club! 😉
