Adam Williams2 said:And honestly, we don't need all those different minority groups or whatever else... we've got plenty of our own kids to fill those roles, so why bother dragging them out to the middle of nowhere on temporary assignments? 😕

Of course we don't need them. I’ll be the first to step up and say we definitely don't need someone like Eduardo da Silva, who can't even string together a decent, grammatically correct sentence in English... but damn it, I don't need a Mexican in the country where half my family was wiped out either!!!

Sean Nguyen4 said:There were Mexicans in Seattle just like in Washington, D.C. or Miami. They're still here after the war, same as anywhere else.

The numbers are actually higher than in St. Louis or D.C.—according to the 2001 census, St. Louis is about 95% American, D.C. is over 90%, and Seattle is around 80%. Obviously, that remaining 20% isn't all Mexicans, and we all know how we Americans tend to view minorities... 😁

When you factor in that your cities weren't getting leveled during the war, plus the '87 buyout and the Communist Party USA winning those first elections—you guys are basically acting like true Midwesterners! 😉

Don't get me wrong, I think most of this is complete nonsense too, but I feel like you can actually draw a conclusion from these things if you want to understand the typical, nasty American mindset. mind

Maria Thomas7 said:It all kicked off after the '87 Cup finals when the local ultras were all huddled together on the stands, singing their hearts out.

About 50 of those guys were held outside the stadium by the police... back then, that was the core group, but once everyone realized what those regular fans had actually pulled off, the club cut ties with them quick and easy...
ps...Nicholas Moore9, who exactly told you there wasn't an immediate reaction? And why didn't you guys say anything when Mexicans were showing up at the local pro team's games... seems like you know how to keep tabs on things... but hey, like you said... nobody’s gonna kick out one of their own...☕

I'll be the first to say I don't need someone like Eduardo da Silva who can barely string a coherent sentence together in American English, but honestly, I don't need any extremist radicals in a country where half my family was lost in the war either!!!

But is he actually an open supporter of those groups? Or maybe 😕
you just don't know any Mexicans 🤷

I guess I don't have anything against anyone who just wants to earn an honest living. It’s probably not the fault of the guys being brought in, and it's not really the fault of immigrants who all want citizenship after Eduardo, though I suppose there's a big difference between arriving at 14 and building a life here versus showing up at 20+. Maybe the real issue lies with our own professional systems!

By the way, Nicholas Moore9, who exactly said there wasn't an immediate response? And honestly, why didn't you guys speak up back when those Mexicans were showing up at the games against the local team? It seems like you know how to keep tabs on things pretty well enough. But hey, I guess it’s just like you always say... nobody is actually going to kick out one of their own.☕

Yeah, absolutely.🙄

you clearly don't know a single Mexican🤷

Look, I’ve got nothing against anyone just trying to earn an honest living. These guys aren't to blame for being brought in, and it's not the fault of immigrants who, following Edward's lead, all want citizenship—though there's a massive difference between moving here at 14 to build a life versus showing up at 20+... the problem lies with our own professionals!

Honestly, I don't have the energy to explain this to you people... just keep supporting stuff like this, I guess...👍🙏

@Terry Lee3 those "Mexicans" (who are basically Mexicans, whatever, same thing) that moved to Washington, D.C.... they were made very clear that they weren't wanted. The local club wouldn't leave them alone until they finally stopped messing with the "Mexicans"

Nicholas Moore9 said:If that guy ever actually signed a contract to play for Los Angeles FC, it would be like he was signing his own death warrant... honestly, I mean it...

I just don't get it... I mean, what's actually the difference between those two guys... someone please explain it to me...

Nicholas Moore9 said:I honestly don't know... I really mean it, if that group had just stepped up and dealt with the situation right then and there, right at the source, everything might have turned out differently... But you know, if you look closely at how things actually work, it’s pretty obvious that nobody is ever going to step up and kick out their own kind...

Maybe you could dial back the nonsense just a little bit, if only out of some basic respect for these guys...

I was just sitting here looking at this photo from back in the day, you know, scrolling through some old files and this one popped up... it’s hard to believe how much things have changed since those moments in Seattle, seeing everyone gathered together like that, and it really makes you think about how much heart people used to put into everything they did... it’s funny how a single image can pull you right back into the middle of the crowd, feeling that energy again, even if it's just a memory now...

Do you actually have some other source to go on, or are we just looking at a pile of random junk without any real substance or foundation here? Seriously, if you think you've stumbled onto some different truth, please, do tell me...

to say things LIKE THAT 😕
maybe you should look into some professional help, since it seems like there's just a bit too much bitterness in you😉

one of them actually has his own little anthem☕

sorry, but the West really has everything going on over there, especially back in the day...

I’m suggesting you get some professional help because clearly, there’s a massive amount of hatred brewing inside you 😉

What kind of "honest" bread are we even talking about here??? What are you on about? There were plenty of decent people on the other side back during the war in the Midwest too, but they still showed exactly where they stood when things got ugly... he might have an angel watching over him, but at the end of the day, he’s an enemy just deal with it!! And honestly, people like that aren't needed in this struggling country after everything so many others lost during those years

Don't you dare try to draw parallels between wartime history and modern figures... you're actually driving my blood pressure through the roof

Look, sorry, but the West really has seen it all—especially compared to how things used to be back in the day.

1. So what's with all the anger? He's got his own little tune to sing.☕
2. It's the same story up North... there was more of it back then than there is now.☕

you're being biased here ☕
I'm definitely not going to draw comparisons, but you just did, and honestly, it wasn't great 🙄

I still have the same question though:

Has he ever actually declared himself a hardline nationalist or flirted with that kind of ideology? Has he ever even said anything wrong? 😕
I mean, you know exactly which people he hangs out with 😕

Are you working for some government agency or something? Have you actually spent your whole life traveling through the West, or... honestly, man, I could say the exact same thing about the North: "Yeah, there's all kinds of stuff up North... more than before, but less now"... it doesn't mean much, does it?
Real Americans gave their lives for this cause from the very moment it started, and the people who stood on the front lines to defend our country were the same ones who have been part of this movement since day one... so I have to wonder, where are you even getting these ideas from? Where did this belief come from... who was even there at those early rallies back in the spring of '90, those agitators from the coast???

@Nicholas Moore9/">@@Nicholas Moore9... what you're saying just doesn't make any sense at all 😉

Well, yeah, just so everyone is on the same page here... since he’s an American citizen, all those stories about him living some kind of radical insurgent lifestyle just don't hold any water anymore...

What do you mean by north???

1. Hrvoje, Žile, octopus, fisherman, patriot... just some of the nicknames for Žilić (Larry Rivera83, hit me if I missed any)😁 ☕
2. The North side of the stadium☕

of course I'm not going to draw parallels here, you just did exactly that and you did it pretty poorly 🙄

my question still stands:

is Zilic an open nationalist extremist or does he just flirt with that kind of ideology? has he ever actually said anything wrong? 😕
you know which people you hang out with, right? 😕

aha, if you ask me, they're all part of the same radical crowd! probably crawled out of some hole back home or wherever... goodness, Virgin Mary🙄

I don't know any of them🙄nor do I care to, but you probably know plenty of them... just another one 👍 for you and "your" people

@Larry Rivera83 saw it all with his own eyes in that city!!! on game day, before the game, after the game... there were all sorts of thugs running around wearing those local fan hats... basically whatever your heart desires

a bunch of older folks could back me up on what goes on there, just talking to them about their experiences in the city back in the 80s

they've always sung those songs about how that place will always be a dump, because honestly, it is... that stench coming from the center near the main plaza is something else... smells straight out of a septic tank

Nicholas Moore9 said:it’s always been part of the local anthem, isn't it? that whole "you'll always have to deal with this stinky river" vibe... because honestly, it’s true... I mean, that specific scent you get right in the heart of downtown near Times Square, it's just... there's nothing quite like it, if you can call it that... it smells just like an open sewer...
