About half an hour ago, this cluster of tiny little bumps just started erupting all over my chin. I’ve never dealt with allergies in my life—never once—so this is completely out of left field. They’re white in color... and they have this stinging, prickly sensation. To make matters worse, I was already dealing with a nagging toothache, so I ended up just loading up on some painkillers to get through it. Should I be genuinely worried about this? Is it worth making an appointment with my doctor right away? Has anyone else here ever dealt with something that looked or felt like this?

Has anyone else actually dealt with this??? It feels like I’m starting to break out in a rash and everything is just incredibly itchy... Could this possibly be a reaction to Andy?

Yes, if the rash is expanding
and you're experiencing itching, swelling, or shortness of breath,
it could certainly be the medication.

See a doctor immediately.

just go see a doctor

When you skim through it, it sounds like that's a possibility, but you have to consider that these posts were all written within an eight-hour window—which makes it pretty unlikely, almost impossible...

I mean, sure, unless she kept taking the Andes in the meantime...

Of course, unless she has been snacking on Andes in the meantime.

Fair enough, I wasn't watching the clock. However, if the rash is still spreading, you really should see a doctor—not necessarily an ER visit, but perhaps an urgent care clinic today just to be safe.
Allergies can stem from toxins, though it depends on what's happening with the tooth... or it could simply be a new face cream. We are all just making educated guesses here, and frankly, we'd have much more information if we weren't communicating over the phone. Just be brave; if you feel fine, apply a warm compress and take an over-the-counter antihistamine. It will likely clear up in a few hours.

I’m with you on that, because you should always double-check those things, and honestly, telling someone "it's nothing" is just a terrible move unless you’re actually a doctor sitting in an exam room 😉

I was already over at the pharmacy first thing this morning. They told me that as long as I’m not having trouble breathing or dealing with swelling, I probably don't need to see a doctor just yet... Now, you know me—I almost never touch pills unless things have reached an absolute breaking point—but this toothache was honestly pushing me to the edge. I ended up taking three Advil 300mg, two Klavocin, and two Aspirin... and absolutely nothing worked. So, I ended up grabbing some other medication starting with a 'K'... I can't even recall the exact name. About half an hour later, I started feeling this stinging sensation. The pharmacist gave me some Rinolan, once a day, just to get me through the worst of it. I finally got my tooth fixed, though... A huge thanks to lana10 and KLCCLK
