Used PC builds: What are they worth?

You've got the Titan X (roughly comparable to a 1660 or 1660 Super) and the Titan XP (which is closer to a 2070 or 2070 Super)😁

The latter is definitely worth a lot more, obviously...

Are you talking about the Nvidia Titan XP (the so-called Nvidia XP) or the Nvidia Titan X (Pascal)? 😁😁

Nvidia Titan X is a Pascal Titan, and the Nvidia Titan XP is also a Pascal Titan, just a bit beefier.
Maxwell cards have GeForce GTX in the name and they're weaker (like that 980 Ti you mentioned).

Naming conventions are a total mess, but good call—you definitely need to know which one is which. 😁

Those prices are for Maxwell. Getting an Nvidia XP or an Nvidia XP is a total steal.

I had a feeling that question would catch up with me eventually. It certainly wasn't the XP, since that’s the powerhouse of the group, so I’m leaning toward it being Pascal. As for Maxwell, I recall seeing it often referred to simply as "Titan" rather than "Titan X," though perhaps my memory is failing me. 🤔

I actually owned two of them, and I retired the previous one ages ago—the one that specifically had "Maxwell" in its name. 🤔
If it helps anyone at all, I bought it back in mid-2015.

If we're talking about 2015, that's Maxwell. Pascal didn't hit the scene until 2016.
All three Titan X models sport 12GB of GDDR5, but the Pascal version uses GDDR5X X

Maybe $600-$700, but half that value is just tied up in the GPU. Plus, it depends if there's any warranty left and how much you actually value 32GB of relatively slow RAM.

Just a heads up, the DVDRW works, but you basically have to manually push the tray back in.

I’m guessing the second one is also 8GB of RAM.

The first option is better. You grab a 250GB SSD for the OS and still have that extra hard drive for storage.
