Absolute jerks. It’s always the same story—just a bunch of keyboard warriors acting like they've mastered the art of strategy from behind a screen. Honestly, if it were up to me, I’d probably ban half the people on this site from even touching the internet. Some folks just aren't capable of grasping anything beyond their basic, mindless routine of eat, sleep, and poop.

Roger Federer vs LeBron James
There's this poll on ESPN for the world's greatest athlete. Federer was crushing it until people over here started getting wind of it 😁
Check out the details here:

ESPN has this poll running for the world's greatest athlete. Federer was absolutely crushing it until word about the poll started spreading here in the States. 😁

If anyone was wondering who I'm voting for—you're kidding, right? My vote goes to the magician from San Francisco. Being a die-hard fan is one thing, but being an idiot is quite another.

Man, that jerk from San Francisco. How can Tennis—basically a sport for rich, soft ladies who are scared of actual contact—even be compared to Handball, basketball, or football?
(Leaving rugby, hockey, and water polo out of this on purpose).
Screw a sport where if someone farts in the stands, they replay the point.👎
Screw this choice 👎

p.s. why isn't that prick from figure skating on the list????

I swear, I’m done with sports where a single fart in the stands can trigger a replay. Give me a break.👎
What a joke of a choice. 👎

P.S. Why isn't that figure skater in the running?

Sure thing. I'll go ahead and fix my tone right now. I've always had a soft spot for advice from people who can't even spell their own username correctly. Let me do you a favor, though—it’s spelled "Great White." 👍

Regarding the debate over whether Metličić or Balić takes the edge, I spoke with Červar quite some time ago—right after we clinched gold in Athens, if I recall correctly. He mentioned that while Balić is an absolutely incredible player, he felt Pero was the more complete athlete. That perspective seems to have shifted now, though, since Pero’s performance has dropped off significantly 😢 whereas Balić remains a constant presence.

Balić is hands down the greatest to ever play the game. Like someone else mentioned earlier, watching him feels like witnessing history in the making... honestly, I think I’ll actually cry when he finally calls it quits. Those moves, those goals—he's basically responsible for half of our success. And look, much respect to Pero, truly, but they just aren't even in the same league!
p.s. I voted for Balić in that poll😉,what a difference compared to our tennis player😁

Now, don't get me wrong, Balić is arguably the best player on the planet right now, but if you ask me? Mirza Džomba is the absolute king! You can really feel his absence in the national team lately; they just don't have that scoring punch from the wing anymore, do they? I mean, when he was at the top of his game—which, granted, hasn't been quite the case recently—those step-back shots and those incredible leaps of his were nothing short of phenomenal!

Balić is quite simply the greatest handball player to ever step onto a court.
He’s always been bezkompromisan, and it's clear he carries leadership wherever he goes—whether he's running the floor or directing things from the sidelines during halftime and breaks.
Beyond just being the tournament's MVP, you could easily hand him a trophy for best coach as well... regardless of how we actually finish... whether we take home the gold, a medal, or just settle for fourth place...

Major props to Talant, but this guy exists in a league of his own. Honestly, I don't think anyone will ever be able to speak about a talent of this magnitude again once he's gone.

And I'm talking about players on a global scale here.

Paul Lopez49 said:When it comes to the whole debate over whether Metličić or Magic Johnson is the superior player, I actually had a chat with Červar—it was ages ago, right around the time we were celebrating that gold medal win in Athens—and he told me that while Magic Johnson is an absolutely phenomenal player, Pero is actually the more complete athlete. Though, honestly, that perspective has shifted lately because Pero’s game has dropped off significantly 😢 whereas Magic Johnson is just a constant presence.

Magic Johnson has these two specific traits that make him one of a kind. Now, both he and Pero possess that high-level court vision, but Magic Johnson has this terrifyingly creative playmaking imagination—which, unfortunately, he hasn't leaned into quite as much lately since moving over to the Spanish league—combined with this insane physical toolkit, specifically that explosiveness and ability to change direction on a dime, which he translates into decisive plays, mostly his shooting, which has actually improved since playing in Spain.

Pero just doesn't have that same physical edge. And let's be real, without that athleticism, you can't really claim to be the absolute best. He’s a brilliant technician, sure, but he lacks that elite speed; even someone like Cristiano Ronaldo relies on it... those old-school eras where pure skill was enough are long gone, now everyone is looking for these superhuman athletes...

Nowadays, Magic Johnson tends to decide games by scoring points, though he isn't facilitating the offense nearly as much as he used to. It used to be that he made everyone else on the floor look like superstars, but today he's more about individual dominance and just carrying the load himself.

In either scenario, he's usually the one providing the edge for the national team, but if I'm being honest, I always had a soft spot for the old version of Magic Johnson—the guy who might only drop two buckets but would still rack up ten assists in a single night...
