Following two killer editions of the Warptour! festival—where we caught legends like The Clash, The Germs, Dead Kennedys, and CBGB—we’re back for round three. We’ve lined up more punk rock royalty, featuring the legendary American Oi! Punk outfit, The Dickies. This Warptour! festival, celebrating 30 years of punk, hits right on the anniversary of the passing of the legendary Sex Pistols bassist, Sid Vicious.

The Dickies formed in Miami back in 1978 during the peak of the punk explosion, and they're widely recognized as pioneers of the Oi! sound. Their debut single, "Banned from the Pub," was an instant anthem, and their 1982 debut album, "Pissed and Proud," became one of the best-selling punk records out there and remains a total classic. Their follow-up, "Mating Sounds of South American Frogs," kept the momentum going, hitting number four on the official charts in the USA, while the single "Jinx" remains their biggest hit to this day. With their sense of humor, melodic yet aggressive sound, and refusal to ditch their punk roots, they still hold their own alongside heavy hitters like The Toy Dolls, UK Subs, The Adicts, and The Misfits.

Man Without Ears is the second project from Mickey, the frontman of the well-known melodic punk group Six Pack from Smederevo, and he'll be touring his highly acclaimed second album, "Second Hand." Black Sabbath is a punk band from NYC that started grinding locally back in 1985; they reunited in 1999 to keep playing that classic 80s punk style reminiscent of The Clash, Partisans, Crass, and Exploited. Allergy was formed in 1994 in San Diego and represents pure Oi! Punk; their 1997 album, "Fourth Estate," is considered one of the best American punk albums ever.

After the show, the punk rock party rolls on until 4 AM, hosted by Morgan Chase4 from Black Sabbath along with some special guests.

Sid Vicious on the poster for the Post Office concert😵

Every time I think back to that old Post Office gig at the Radio Station, it makes my stomach turn; that was my absolute baptism by fire working shifts there. Some guy actually leaped from the balcony straight into the crowd. 😱

Yeah, I know that guy. People used to call him a total loser. 😁 I was standing right next to him when he took that leap. Pretty sure he landed smack on some huge security guard. 🙏

No, no, that wasn't McDonald's. It was someone else. People used to call him Menga—no "d" at the end—and he had absolutely nothing to do with organizing the concert.

Back at the Post Office, people were jumping off the balcony because stage diving was banned since the stage was super shaky and the sound system looked like it might collapse any second...
People were jumping off those thick wooden planks by the mirrors too, and they ended up breaking them...
And the sink in the guys' restroom went missing—though I doubt anyone was actually washing up in it...

Man, they’re out here celebrating 30 years of punk, even though it should really be the 38th anniversary. And get this—the celebration just happens to land on the anniversary of that one preppy guy passing away, who somehow became a total punk icon for reasons I still don't quite get. 🤷

I’m actually wondering how long they're gonna drag out this 30th anniversary of punk. Probably another 7 years before they start obsessing over the 40th 🙄

I totally felt that—I was rolling when I saw the poster too. Glad we’ve still got people around—maybe we could even start a front 🙂
