So, listen, I'm looking for some actual intel on this movie. Does anyone here have any real info?

The word was supposed to be a global release, but if my memory serves—and it usually doesn't, much to my chagrin—it only actually hit theaters in Germany? Or am I completely off base here? I could be wrong...

IMDb claims it had a US release, but let’s be real: that is flat-out incorrect.

The release date in the States was pushed back to February 2008, and it should be arriving here shortly. Hopefully 🙂

Here’s the smoking gun proving Uwe Boll is a total moron. He actually decided to drop his flick at the exact same time as Indiana Jones 4, and I'll tell you exactly why this move was so incredibly brainless.🤣

On the INDIANA JONES weekend - May 23 - we will go out and destroy INDIANA JONES at the box office! We all know Harrison Ford is older than my grandad and his time is up—as Michael Moore would say! This is basically a showdown between two directors. Spielberg is getting lazy. You could see it in War of the Worlds, and even in bits of Jaws, E.T., and Munich. My cameo in POSTAL as a Naza amusement park Owner easily beats Ben Kingsley's performance in Schindler's List!

I suppose one could argue that Uwe Boll is either a complete moron or perhaps he's actually quite brilliant and simply understands that any amount of publicity is good publicity.

It will likely end up being his finest cinematic achievement to date, though I suppose that doesn't really say all that much given his track record.

Listen, I’m bumping this thread because there's something eating at me...

...I heard the box office numbers in the States were absolutely abysmal... apparently, people just stayed away in droves / and word is they even pulled it from theaters early.... (like the audience staged some kind of boycott... because it was too brutal 🙂 - now everyone wants to see it even more)

...I suppose a DVD release is coming... though honestly, that's still a total mystery to me

Just finished watching it. Honestly, "Postal" is a straight-up masterpiece of trash cinema. It’s so wildly politically incorrect and just completely unhinged that I know I’m gonna be obsessed with this for a long time...

There’s even a bit where Uwe Boll shows up himself playing the owner of a Naza amusement park, claiming his whole operation is funded by Nazi gold, only to get jumped by vince Desiderio—the guy who actually created the Postal game—because he totally trashed the adaptation. He just yells "For videogames!" and shoots Boll right in the balls.

The jokes are everywhere, and if you're the kind of person who gets this stuff, you're gonna love it. Personally, I was cracking up the whole time... I seriously can't wait to see the Unrated version.

There's also this extended scene where Uwe says: "My father died in Auschwitz. He fell from a guard tower." 🤣🤣🤣🙏🙏🙏

Uwe is a legend...

The movie is pure genius. I actually sat through it four times on my first day after picking it up 😂🤣

I can't forget that one part where Uwe says:
"I get a little horny onstage sometimes, when I see all the children in the crowd." 🤣

And then there’s that Krotchy doll—which is shaped like, well, you know... the thing—that says when you pull the little string on its backside:
"Only my father and my priest can touch me there". My priest... good grief... 🙏

Or that dark joke that most people might actually miss, when the news reports on that tanker sinking while carrying a shipment of those Krotchy dolls: "Sadly, the Chinese tanker bringing them over here sank. They were able to save about 100,000 dolls. Unfortunately, none of the crew was rescued." 🤣

I've always been a huge fan of Uwe, he's easily one of my favorite directors, but man, he really outdid himself this time...

And let's not forget the silencer 😂🤣

I was expecting some fun, low-budget trash, but even Boll couldn't manage to pull that off...

Perhaps this is the finest film Uwe Boll has managed to produce thus far. However, I suppose making that claim is somewhat akin to suggesting this is merely the least offensive pile of garbage I've encountered lately; at its core, it remains absolute rubbish.

This isn't some charming piece of cult trash; it is quite simply just bad filmmaking.
