I’ve been thinking it might finally be time to dive into aerobics, though I must admit, I’ve never really dabbled in anything quite like it before.

Does anyone happen to know where I might find a decent studio for aerobics, perhaps somewhere in the heart of downtown or just on the outskirts of the city center?

I am specifically looking for a place that welcomes total beginners—somewhere the instructor is articulate enough to explain the movements clearly and where the entire workout routine is actually well-structured... you know, a place that truly prioritizes quality.

For me, the actual caliber of the training is paramount; I’m not just looking for a place where I can jump around aimlessly for an hour.

I would be so incredibly grateful for any advice, personal stories, or recommendations you all might have to share!

Honestly, just walk from Times Square—cut down Madison Avenue, hit Main Street, and you'll end up right at the Square.
Then head back 😁 😁

I think there’s one over on Jefferson Avenue, the first street you hit turning left off Rockefeller Plaza. Prices are actually pretty decent there. I'm planning on signing up for a gym membership next week. 😉

First and foremost, my primary concern is quality; after all, isn't it true that you can find mediocre aerobics classes on practically every street corner in America these days?

Go check out http://www.mgmbodyart.com/v1/index.php.

I’ve been there myself and had a great experience (though my schedule won't allow for a return visit anytime soon😢). If they have an opening, you can show up during slots outside your scheduled sessions, provided you're actually enrolled in a program. They'll walk you through all the details once you arrive.

I actually went there myself once, and oh my goodness, I had such an absolutely wonderful experience! Sadly, my schedule is just so packed these days that I can't make it back right now😢. But listen, if they have openings, you might even be able to drop in during times you haven't officially signed up for—though, typically, you really do need to enroll in one of their specific programs first. Anyway, they are incredibly helpful and will walk you through every single detail when you arrive

.

Thank you so much! This honestly sounds absolutely perfect to me. The location is so convenient for where I am, and I had no idea they offered such an incredible variety of programs! 🙂

🙄
Walking down Seventh 🙄

is cool, but personally, I think heading from Broadway over to the Square, then looping through Madison Avenue and Times Square all the way out to Central Park is a much better route. 😍
Then you can just loop back 😁 😁

And yeah, I definitely am 😍

Me too, though I’d probably be wasted or high on something else 🤣
