Hey everyone, quick question! How do I export emoticons from Microsoft somewhere else?
You know what I mean? I want to take those emoticons from Microsoft and move them over—say, into a .gif format—so I can actually save them as images!
Do you see where I'm coming from?
I haven't stumbled upon an option for this yet, but I'm really curious...
Thanks, you geniuses.........😁

Does nobody know? Well... if not... admins can just lock this...
Good God, why did this software even exist in the first place...

They must be tucked away somewhere... probably in some insanely complicated folder that’ll drive you crazy. 😁
Hold on—let me try running a quick search to see if I can find them for you. 😁

c:\documents and settings \your username\application data\microsoft\aol instant messenger

So, you'll see this big pile of folders labeled with numbers...
I guess you just need to find the one that looks the most crowded—you know, the one with way more subfolders inside than the others—because that’s where the Emojis folder should be hiding. Your little icons are in there, though they might show up with .dat extensions. Just a heads-up, if anyone else uses AOL Instant Messenger on your PC, you might have to hunt for the right folder, since some of those might belong to other users and their specific icons.

No... he’s just gone... I can't...
It doesn't matter...
I'm not going to stress myself out—it's just not worth the headache.

I’m giving up...

You're being such a dummy!!
Just turn on hidden folders.
It's simple stuff—really, it's for beginners: >

Man, you’re just something else! Seriously... God is way too good, letting kids like you get away with it...😢

Nope, looking through my AOL Instant Messenger folders, I only see one single folder—it's labeled 1175284352—and all it holds are these random .sqm files. I'm no expert when it comes to Microsoft stuff...

So, you just jump into that folder... grab those *.dat files, copy them over, and then just rename the extension to .gif...
thanks... man, that’s exactly what I was looking for.

Yeah, but the real issue is I don't have any more maps left—I've just got this one single folder, and all it holds is a few icons... they aren't even in .dat format, they're showing up as .sqm files instead.

Did you actually toggle those hidden folders on?? Try this: grab one of those .sqm files, copy it, and then just rename the extension to .gif

I’m certainly not that dense—but thanks anyway...
I'm calling it quits...
Take care...
