It's just the stress, I suppose. 😠At least I'm quitting smoking, so I'm at peace with that part of my life.🙂

I haven't actually heard of using lavender oil before; it sounds quite healthy, doesn't it? 👍Do you buy it at a pharmacy, is there a specific brand I should look for, or can I just grab any random bottle off the shelf?

Well, generally speaking, it isn't particularly wise to apply essential oils directly to your skin—though lavender is relatively gentle. Personally, I just apply a tiny amount to damp hair; I rub a few drops between my palms first, just a little bit. Incidentally, I heard recently that it's great for kids who are fussy about their eyelashes because they tend to dislike that scent (not that I have children myself, of course! 😁). I don't know much about the different manufacturers, but as long as it's 100% pure essential oil, it should be fine. You can find small bottles everywhere—at a CVS, a Walgreens, or even a local health food store. About a year ago, while I was vacationing on the coast, I picked up a larger bottle (100ml) for maybe ten dollars or so, and it's still going strong! It was an "Aurora" brand, labeled by AMS International, based out of a small town near Cleveland; www.ams.biz.hr... though goodness knows who they are... I've never heard of them. I haven't seen larger sizes like that since, but then again, I haven't gone looking. Perhaps you could find them in a more upscale apothecary... I'm not entirely sure, though maybe even a brand like Aromatic carries it.

I wash my hair every two or three days using L'Oréal shampoo specifically formulated for oily hair. It still feels incredibly greasy😳

Honestly, they even said it might be better for you if you're using, you know, really gentle shampoos. I mean, I wash my hair every single day... there's just no way I can go to bed after a run with sweaty, dirty hair and expect things to turn out okay...

I'm kinda wondering about the explanation for this red part here

Just a heads up—that bolded red text wasn't my doing. It wasn't even in my original draft... knock on wood, as they say.😬,

I wash my hair every single morning. I usually alternate—one day I’ll use shampoo, then the next day I just rinse it with plain water, no soap involved. Honestly, it works for me. I don't even bother with a blow dryer; I just let it air dry and always finish it off with a cold water rinse.

Every time I wash my hair, it ends up feeling dry, coarse, and just totally trashed.
But honestly, it’s always been pretty parched anyway—so I'm not exactly shocked.
Twice a week is my limit, tops.
