Hey there...
I'm 18, and I've recently realized that I have a short frenulum (that little strip of skin on the underside). When I try to pull my foreskin all the way back, the frenulum pulls tight against the head, and even when I'm erect, I can get the skin past the tip, but then everything just stops. If I try to push it any further, it gets really tight and starts to hurt quite a bit...
It seems to me like I might need a frenulotomy, so I was hoping to get some more information about how that works.
I guess I'm wondering how long the actual procedure takes—including any prep work if that's required—and how long the recovery period usually lasts after the surgery. Also, does anyone know roughly what the cost looks like?
Thanks.

If you're dealing with phimosis, you'll likely need a circumcision... or perhaps just a little surgical correction to resolve the issue.
