I’ve finally decided to commit to a new diet plan.
It isn't anything standard like Keto or Atkins, but rather a personalized routine I designed just for myself.
- For breakfast, I eat a regular meal,
- For lunch, I have a typical meal, though I try to cut back on the bread a bit.
- As for dinner, I skip it entirely.
In between meals, I consume absolutely nothing except for water.

Plus, I’ve been ramping up my physical activity quite a bit.

By following this, I managed to drop 2 pounds in just 5 days.

Is that progress happening too quickly? Am I actually burning fat, or am I just losing water weight? How long can one realistically maintain such a pace, and will those pounds simply rush back the moment I stop?

The thing is, you’re mostly just flushing out water weight right now, but if you keep this up, you’ll start losing muscle mass along with your bone density. That’s how you end up trapped in that dreaded yo-yo cycle—where the weight comes back almost instantly and becomes a nightmare to shed later on.

So, my advice? Please don't go making any drastic cuts to your calories. It’s actually much better to take a slightly larger amount of food than what you’re eating now and spread it out into maybe five or six smaller, similar meals throughout the day, including dinner. And whatever you do, don't skip that post-workout meal; honestly, that’s probably the most critical one of the bunch. I’d also suggest bumping up your protein intake quite a bit, which should help protect your muscles. Though, I have to be realistic with you—if you find yourself dropping more than a pound a week or if you’re hitting the gym for high-intensity sessions, you’re probably going to see some inevitable muscle loss regardless.
