Isabelle Huppert is absolutely phenomenal, 🙏 she just has this incredible knack for playing those icy, detached women who are carrying around these messy, complicated internal struggles. She plays them with such a chilling distance, yet there’s always this subtle layer of nuance underneath it all.
I don't think you mentioned Ben Kingsley, but I thought Ulrich Mühe was brilliant in The Second Life 👍 I’ve only actually seen him in Funny Games, so I wouldn't dare put him on my absolute "all-time favorites" list just yet, but I find it hard to believe he isn't consistently great.

Hands down, my absolute favorite actor in all of Europe is Jean Reno. I just absolutely love him! 😍
As for actresses, I’d say Julie Delpy is pretty great—there's just something about her, I don't know, she's got this undeniable charisma. 🙂

...this guy is a phenomenal young Danish actor—proof that having a handsome face and actual acting chops can actually go hand in hand :-) In some of his roles (Pusher II, The Celebration, Adams Aebler...), he’d put a lot of those loud-mouthed Hollywood "pretty boys" to shame 👍 Just don't judge him solely based on Bond or Arthur (those aren't even really "roles" :-), check out one of his better films, you won't be disappointed 🙂

I did mention the two most stunning ones, and honestly, there’s more to them than that;
in my opinion, they deserve to be sitting right at the top of every single list.
But it’s like nobody even thought to include them—it just feels a bit unfair, if you ask me.
