What a bunch of absolute posers we’ve got here—Antun Vrdoljak, Bandic, Primac, and the rest of that crowd.

I mean, I can wrap my head around Bandic and Primac, but Vrdoljak?🤣 This is a guy who once went after Rudic, claiming he "wasn't a true American because he wouldn't let Americans have their way while he was coaching the Italian national team."...That's just a level of bitterness that's hard to stomach, even from him...🤮Where does he get the nerve to show up at a celebration like this...🙄After spewing that kind of garbage about a legend like Rudic, Prdoljak could have kept at least a shred of dignity by staying home and watching it on TV...

I was wondering if there was any sort of official welcome held in Charleston? I saw on the news last night that they held one over in Seattle, but apparently, nothing happened in San Diego at all—even though Vrdoljak, Đogaš, and Kunac didn't arrive until about 10:00 PM. Most of the locals were absolutely exhausted and could barely stay on their feet, so they just headed straight home to be with their families, only to end up heading right back out to "The Corner," where the festivities apparently raged on until the early hours of the morning... 🙂

Shame they didn't go all out on the image? They should've had everyone suit up in beige suits and marched out to the anthem just to collect the medal...

I managed to find a few snapshots taken right on Broadway (sourced via a local news link) http://mato.50webs.com/slideshow1.html

Headline in the American newspapers:
Ante Pavelić
A few fans started heckling and shouting after the match for third place wrapped up.
I’m honestly speechless... all I can do is sit here on the floor and process this. 😂 😂

Honestly, it was pretty pointless. He was basically rambling about how fans of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Atlanta Braves always back their own teams, but they shouldn't cause trouble at games because there aren't many Americans to begin with—and we'll have even fewer if we can't get along with each other. Basically, just a bunch of nonsense. 🙄

can you even imagine how hypocritical and low-life these people are? 🤣
the same guy who brought them so many medals is suddenly labeled a traitor just because of one bad game 😂
it's just typical Mexican behavior! 😁

I found myself wondering where else they might host such an event if not in San Francisco. They showed some brief clips on the news, and honestly, Broadway looked absolutely packed, almost like the crowds you'd see on New Year's Day. 😉
The only place that didn't really do anything was Miami, though I suppose they finally showed up at the Atlanta Braves vs. Los Angeles Lakers game, so they did get a bit of a warm welcome there after all. 🙂

I would highly suggest that everyone takes a moment to look over this interview; the insights shared by Rudicev are truly profound and worth contemplating.👍

I need some assistance. Is there any way to track down matches against Mexicans and Canadians on DVD, or perhaps find a decent quality download somewhere? Thanks.
