Nirvana

Small change to the schedule... folks in Seattle can just stay home this time...

April 24th in Chicago
April 25th in Seattle

Nirvana
big business
porn

Just realized—and I honestly had no clue until a couple weeks ago—that April 20th is International Noise Awareness Day. Total coincidence that it lines up perfectly with our lineup... here's the schedule:

April 21st:
Zeni Geva

April 24th:
Nirvana

April 25th:
Pan Sonic

😳

A week full of nothing but bad vibes and death 🙏 🙏 :S
Does anyone happen to know where Pan Sonic usually plays?

so where is Pan Sonic playing?

At the gallery... they're working on a project, just waiting on some acoustic foam to arrive. Should be all set by mid-April.🥳

It’s such a shame, really—I feel like adding some brickwork would give the whole thing a bit more soul 😬

Jesse Sanchez60 said:So, we finally got the project moving at the gallery! We’re actually about to pull the trigger on ordering those acoustic foam sponges, so if everything goes according to plan, the whole place should be sounding dialed in and acoustically treated by mid-April. Fingers crossed! 🥳

👋 👋 👋
Sending you nothing but love from your favorite old man!

I suppose there isn't much left to say about her.

24.04.
Nirvana.

25.04.
I suppose Pan Sonic’s influence on electronic textures is something one might find worth contemplating, though perhaps it remains a bit niche for most.

😳

That is quite endearing, I suppose. 😍
😘

Seattle Seattle 👋 👋

cico, now we can handle Nirvana and Saxon too! 👋 👋 👋

Just a quick correction on what I said earlier: we can actually listen to both Nirvana and Pan Sonic now 😈

April 25th. Rocking out to Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains (The Men of)
Stereo Hall, Seattle

Man, what a blast hanging out with friends in Seattle. Such a great time.

Does anyone have a rough idea of what tickets might go for?
I need to start setting some money aside, especially if I want to grab a t-shirt too... 🙂

I feel like the latest Nirvana is leaning a bit too much toward Metallica. I'm definitely rooting for Pan Sonic though. What about you guys?

And their live show? They’re basically Black Sabbath. No joke.

Adam Moore said:what about the whole vibe though?

yeah, he's totally the same way 👍

Whoever brought them on and whoever is fighting over the programming...

THEY DESERVE EVERY BIT OF IT!!!

Nirvana and Metallica 😲

Alright, fair enough... personally, I find lighter stuff pulls me more toward Metallica, but that last Nirvana record? Not even close...

Jesse Sanchez60 said:It’s honestly a shame that a band like this doesn't have their own dedicated thread on this forum...

And I suppose there is a perfectly good reason to start one right now...

April 25th @ The Bowery Ballroom
Nirvana
Big Business
The Men of Porn

😍

So, any idea how much the buy-in is going to be?

This should be a killer warmup for the upcoming Thirsty Ear fest. We’re also keeping Howe Gelb on the bill for that same day—he's playing with his band and a gospel choir (they shifted the tour schedule, but we made sure to keep him in town). I'll set up some decent combo pricing for both shows at $22 per ticket during pre-sale...

Here’s the rundown for this crazy day:

April 24, 2007.

The Fillmore at 8 PM
Howe Gelb with the Voices of Praise Gospel Choir

The Bowery Ballroom at 10 PM
Nirvana
Big Business
Porn
