I'm not so sure about it. Though, given the werewolves (go ginger go 😍),
I'd probably rather just track down the book... though I might watch the movie if it happens to pop up on my screen.

Based on the announcement, I’m feeling cautiously optimistic. I noticed the screenwriter is Ehren Kruger, the guy behind "Blood and Chocolate", "The ring", "Skeleton Key", and "Arlington Road"... so there’s potential here. However, it’s pretty obvious this isn't going to be a pure horror flick; it looks more like some PG-13 romance with a few horror elements sprinkled in.

"Disaster" doesn't even begin to cover it. After sitting through this, you have to wonder if the director, writer, and producers have any grasp of filmmaking or the industry at large—because this movie is strictly a money pit. Or maybe they just lack basic competence entirely.

The core premise isn't groundbreaking, but it certainly had the potential to be an engaging, well-paced watch. Instead, they delivered a tedious, mindless slog that feels like an insult to the audience's intelligence.

It’s billed as an action movie with almost zero action. It attempts horror, but the "scariest" moments feel like something out of a cartoon. As for the romance, it’s a sugary, shallow subplot that might only appeal to someone looking for mindless fluff.

I caught it... honestly, it was just okay. Nothing to write home about, really. Though, I have to admit my judgment might be a little biased since I only sat through it because she was dying to see it. Now that I’ve actually followed the plot from start to finish...😍

So, did you guys catch this movie yet? Well, I finally sat down and watched it last night, and if I’m being honest, I’d say it’s just one of those flicks you can pop in whenever you have some downtime if you aren't looking for anything particularly profound. It felt somewhat... I don't know, déjà vu? Like I had seen bits and pieces of it somewhere before. I actually popped the disc into my player without having any clue what the plot was actually about, other than the fact that it was labeled a thriller/horror—I didn't even realize there were wolves involved!! Because, you know, I didn't really feel like scrolling through all the spoilers on IMDb when I saw it was categorized as a thriller/horror🙂 but then, suddenly, it's all about wolves and "werewolves." I thought, okay, fine, let's give it a shot, but once the movie actually started, for the first fifteen minutes or so, I was almost convinced I was watching some cheesy teen horror flick or something, though thankfully, it turns out it isn't quite that bad. Regarding the special effects, I have to say the transformation scenes where people turn into wolves were actually pretty well done. And, oh, I should probably mention that Agnes Bruckner looks absolutely stunning in this one 😍 The film sits at a 4.9/10 on IMDb, and while I frequently find myself disagreeing with their ratings, I think I’d give it exactly a 5/10, which I suppose puts it right in that "watchable" territory.
