Hey, I'm heading out to Savannah tomorrow
They're doing blood work there to check serotonin levels
Has anyone here actually gone through with that test before?

And what’s the goal of this analysis? What symptoms are we talking about—is this some private clinic down in Savannah?

Just totally wiped out all the time... chronic fatigue...
Septum deviation
Sinus issues
Anxiety kicks in...
Zero concentration... basically zero...

Heading out to Savannah tomorrow so I figured I'd just get it done...

About 60% of people deal with a deviated septum and occasional sinus issues—and if the deviation is significant enough, surgery becomes unavoidable. As for the serotonin argument: low levels affect mood, which can lead to depression, but I don't see any logical link between serotonin and sinus congestion. Furthermore—I have no idea where you're based—but working out of a small private clinic in Savannah makes me question the reliability of those results. Even in major cities, medical testing can feel a bit like election fraud sometimes—shady business where the "dead vote"—if you catch my drift. I didn't test for serotonin specifically, but I know enough from my other lab results to draw my own conclusions.

So, why am I feeling so anxious and just totally out of it?
My testosterone is sitting at 26... 🙂man of action here, I guess...
Even my mood is completely trashed right now

One doctor told me my blood pressure is super low—it never even hits 100

I’m pulling 12-hour sleeps and still waking up feeling like absolute garbage

I’m even struggling with my mood lately.

One doctor pointed out my blood pressure is low—never climbs above 100.

I sleep for 12 hours straight and still wake up exhausted.

There could be plenty of culprits here—maybe H. pylori, some gut issue, or even an allergy... could be a gluten intolerance, too. Regarding hormones, Testosterone itself isn't the main driver for concentration; it's more about its precursors. Everything we eat seems to be toxic these days, which explains why everyone is dealing with some level of dysfunction. It might be worth looking into a Paleo or LCHF diet.

So, I went ahead and got my serotonin levels checked this morning, cost me about $30
Results should be in after 10 days

Borrelia burgdorferi detection 1. ... wait, let me check those prices again...
Borrelia burgdorferi detection...
Cortisol is $8

This clinic is huge, they claim to have like 4,000 different tests available... apparently some big-time tycoon from New York City invested in the whole thing

I didn't realize they even offered a test for tryptophan, that amino acid you need to actually process serotonin...

That one is gonna run me $50

Boosting serotonin is actually pretty straightforward—just grab some cocoa, stir it into hot water, and you're set. It’s exactly why people suggest chocolate to those dealing with depression, though pure cocoa packs a much heavier punch.

Laijicki look, you can have as much serotonin in your bloodstream as you want, but it's not getting into your brain without tryptophan first
Logic...
