But get thisβ€”I’m literally looking at the IHF website right now, and they’re stripping away all of Tomasov’s hand goals. πŸ‘‹

frozentiger6 said:Yeah, if they beat the Canadians, we're up next against the Poles, and if they take out the Poles, it's the Frenchmen's turn.

Or, to put it more accurately, we're the ones in their crosshairs.

Exactly, the Frenchmen are coming straight for us. πŸ˜‰

Honestly, what worries me more is that we'll probably have to deal with the Germans right after that. But hey, you don't know what you're made of until things get tough, right?

Man, wouldn't that second scenario feel so much better? It just feels way more balanced and natural, you know?

To me, the bigger embarrassment would be if we have to face the Germans next. But hey, you find out what a team is made of when things get tough.

There’s nothing to worry about. Everyone is in peak condition, playing smooth and aggressive. This isn't even a fraction of that grind we went through in Switzerland back when Balic was basically carrying the entire team on his back. We scraped by against Dance and the Icelanders just to end up collapsing from exhaustion.

The players are just getting warmed up now.

The guys are already down by 5 or 8 points.

Alright, here comes the French team.

Why on earth would anyone even ask that? I mean, I suppose I could attempt to untangle the massive, convoluted web of reasons behind this, though honestly, it feels like trying to map out the entire interstate highway system during a blizzardβ€”completely overwhelming and probably a waste of good coffee. I guess there might be some logic buried deep under all the chaos, maybe, if one were inclined to spend hours overanalyzing every single variable, but I find myself wondering if we aren't just chasing ghosts at this point. It’s all a bit much, isn't it?

I can't even begin to tell you how much your relentless optimism grates on my nerves.πŸ™‚ 😁

Honestly... I haven't a clue.

The 9-to-5 grind for Poland

Szmal is just making life hard for those little kids over at Rutenka and Kozlina.

...

That’s really the only info I managed to snag regarding the standings..

Does anyone happen to have the group rankings yet?!?

Also, regarding the streaming service via the International Handball Federation:

The first broadcast was absolutely terrible (the matchup against the Czech Republic) β€” I actually wrote in to complain about how bad it was. To my surprise, they gave me a full refund (which was unexpected since I only asked for credit toward a different game). I just tested it again during the match against Spain, and they gave me access to that one for free too! I have to admit, the quality is actually great this time around!

If you're stuck without a way to watchβ€”and I know how frustrating those local network broadcasts can be with their constant focus on overseas streams instead of the actual games!β€”I highly recommend this!

Look, honestly, whatever happens, happens.

I mean, Dominikovic should be back at it soon, and he’ll probably be rested up. As for Balic, there’s no way he’s feeling worn outβ€”truth be told, most of the guys didn't even get much meaningful playing time, except for Perez, who definitely took a bit more of a beating out there.

But hey, who cares? We’re going to crush them all.

Wait a second--- if the Canadians pull this off, we’re heading straight to the big game in Chicago? Right?

Those Canadians are definitely trying to screw us over on purpose! But hey, save the best laughs for last.
