In my opinion, the more fans they pack into the arena, the higher the ratings for the people watching at home.

I honestly don’t get what the deal is with Jeppesen. I mean, did that guy seriously just start asking questions out of nowhere? To me, he was always a top-tier player—it makes absolutely no sense to me why anyone would be questioning him now.
On another note, I really don't think it's a smart move to put Mike in the lineup; he just doesn't have the veteran experience we need right now. And Losert, even if he isn't playing at his peak, can still pull through if he manages to step up and secure those crucial loose balls. That said, I suspect we'll walk away with a convincing win regardless of how our keeper performs. Personally, I thought the Russians were a much tougher matchup than the Danes.

A win is expected, but what else? 👋

I’d put Mike in goal just to see what he can do in a single game. I doubt he'll make any major blunders, especially considering how well our keepers played against Russia 🙂

Oh, please, "no experience"... the guy is a goalie. Just put him in the net and tell him to make the saves he can. Experience isn't everything here. At the end of the day, someone who's bad isn't going to be any worse just because they're inexperienced.

We actually have way more depth this year, regardless of what the Danes think. From the looks of it, someone might end up playing through an injury on Balic—not that anyone really enjoys doing that.

Basically, it's just another country where people obsess over their handball team—even the networks were hunting for prime-time slots. It’s not like in Germany, where the broadcasters had to settle for afternoon slots just to scrape together some viewership. We’re fine with our scheduling; those who need to watch will make it happen.

Denmark is a tough squad—unified and capable of a comeback, just like us—but they aren't necessarily better. 🙂
If we take them down, we basically clear a path for the Canadians and ourselves (I'd bet on the Czechs being out early). That would likely leave a showdown between the winners and either the Russians or the Spaniards. If heaven forbid we slip up, we’ll be fighting off a strong Canadian side that’ll probably have four points by the second round, and we might even have to deal with the Spaniards too.

I checked the schedule, and I actually dig the rhythm—resting every third day, a day off after the quarterfinals, and two days after the semis. If that helps anyone, it’ll be Balic, Metlicic, and the rest of the crew.

Personally, I think experience is absolutely vital in high-stakes games like this. If things start going south early on, I seriously doubt there's any coming back from it—it could turn into a total disaster. Sure, Losert has been a complete catastrophe so far, but I’d still give him the edge simply because he’s spent years playing in major international tournaments. At some point, he has to make a save, right? It's hard to believe someone can be consistently terrible for ninety minutes straight.🙂
