Well, I have to admit—I feel a massive sense of relief right now 😁... just like Lola says, there’s clearly a first time for everything 😁

Thanks, ladies 🙂

Nobody hit me, I didn't bump into anything, and I'm not even expecting my period.. they just hurt :/ .. at first, I thought maybe it was because I sleep on my stomach, but I've always slept that way, so it would be weird if they suddenly felt all bruised up and crushed..

Any ideas?

Are you doing okay with your progesterone levels? When those dip, the cramps can get way more intense during the second half of your cycle.

Also, if you're on birth control, it's actually pretty common for things to hurt more—doctors usually warn people about that when they prescribe them.

I'm going to be intentionally off-topic for a second here 😉
It sounds like you're having a bit of a hard time finding the right bra fit.
The number represents the band size, while the letter is the cup size.
It totally makes sense if your band size fluctuates by about two inches depending on the brand, but it doesn't really add up that your cup size would jump all the way from an A to a D😕

It seems you clearly have some significant issues when it comes to selecting a proper bra.
The number indicates the range, whereas the letter represents the basket.
It makes perfect sense to me that you'd see a variance of about two inches in circumference depending on which manufacturer you're looking at—brands just can't seem to agree on sizing standards. However, I find it completely illogical that a single basket would fluctuate anywhere from an A to a D cup. That level of inconsistency is frankly absurd.😕

I find myself sitting here, rereading this over and over, and I have to admit—I’m just not grasping it. It simply refuses to click. 😕 In my estimation, an 85D could likely serve as a functional substitute for a 90C, though I certainly wouldn't recommend trying to swap it for a 90A. It really comes down to the individual; one ought to take the time to measure oneself properly to determine their true size. I recall seeing a segment on *The Oprah Winfrey Show* regarding this very topic—I don't exactly sit down to watch daytime talk shows religiously, mind you, but the subject caught my attention when I happened to be watching. It seems to be a widespread issue, as most women appear to be wearing the incorrect bra size. I find myself wondering whether such inaccuracies have actual implications for one's physical health, or if the consequences are merely aesthetic in nature.

Ha, who knows... > I’m looking at this latest batch I picked up, and everything is an 85D. Looking back at some older ones, they were all 85D too... then there's this one ancient thing from my memory that I'm certain was a 90A, but the tag is so faded I can't even make out what it says. 😁

Honestly, I’d love to be rocking a DD or even an E cup... but no matter where I look, I just can't seem to find anything bigger than a C... and don't even get me started on wireless bras—I absolutely cannot deal with them. I really need something with more structure, you know? Something firm enough to actually give me a decent lift.

So, look—lumps can definitely pop up during your period if things are feeling extra sensitive or if there’s just a little swelling going on. It could also be a side effect from certain antibiotics or even just some hormonal fluctuations... but honestly, it’s never a bad idea to do a quick self-check for breast cancer. Sorry if this is a bit much, I just... 😢

The real issue is that you simply cannot find decent options in big-box retailers like Target or Walmart. That is precisely why I have resorted to ordering through catalogs—companies like Lands' End or maybe even Amazon. They carry actual E cups, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is actually reliable.

Everything seems fine for now... but if this doesn't work out for me, I'm going to be pretty bummed. What am I supposed to do then? Like, is there even an option to just return it?

Yes, you can return it without any real hassle. Honestly, it took me quite some time to figure out which cuts actually work for my body type, though I finally have a few reliable models in my rotation now. If I may offer a small piece of advice—if you find yourself caught between two sizes, I would strongly suggest ordering the smaller one. That goes for more than just bras, too. For instance, I often fluctuate between a 36 and a 38, but I invariably opt for the 36 and simply use the tightest hook. It provides much better support.

thanks so much 🙂 .. I’m wearing a 34DDD right now, but honestly, that's only because I need more volume in the cup... if I were looking for an E, I’d probably be closer to an 32

Jesus, I'm dealing with something similar... like the pre-period ache, except this has been going on for over a month now, and they seem bigger 😕
honestly, it's wild that they're growing, considering I'm 26 😕 😕
not that I'd complain, since they weren't really an issue before😬

😬 I watched that Oprah segment. Since then, at least two of my friends and I have finally figured out our actual sizes. It sounds ridiculous, but she actually helped us 🤣
As for the pain, I deal with it almost constantly due to hormonal imbalances—prolactin issues and a few other things.👎

Did you hit the gym? Is it just muscle soreness?

Not an option for me... I haven't stepped foot in a gym in months (sadly), and housework isn't really my thing anyway.😬

Go get an ultrasound. I doubt we can offer anything useful besides bad advice like what was posted above. (Forgive me, but how on earth would working out cause breast inflammation? At most, it might be a pectoral strain, which isn't really the same thing...)
