The main thing is to include as many traps like the ones from the first movie as possible. The second one was pretty much a disaster because there was only one actual trap. I'm not even counting the stuff in the house.

Man... nobody's saying anything...
just finished watching Saw III... my take—if I had to sum it up in one word—BORING!!
Seriously boring, I almost passed out... same old recipe as before, just one main trap and constant interruptions from flashbacks showing stuff from the first movie...
btw, part 3 picks up right where part 2 left off 🙂
and nothing, they did that little trick at the end again, but man, the movie is just tedious. It’s obvious they just pile on the crap and you basically have to wait until the last minute to get a 20-second explanation of what actually happened... 🤮
the violence and the traps?
rofl, such a drag. It’s a total FORCED GORE FLICK. Like, they’re just trying way too hard to make scenes look bloodier, cranking up the sound effects to "enhance" the vibe, but honestly—it's all just dull...
shame because I actually liked the series, but this was one of the most boring ones yet... I was hoping the story would go somewhere or the traps would be brutal enough to actually be fun... instead, it was just deathly boring...

Then I'm skipping it. The second one already had me stressed out.
Thrillers aren't really my thing for sequels, let alone an entire trilogy or quadrology...
plus, it looks like they didn't make enough cash, so they'll probably just churn out more gore-fests for mindless Americans to chew on.👎

No way there's gonna be a fourth one... 😁
SPOILER: everyone ends up dead at the end 🙂

Ahem... the fourth installment is set to hit theaters on October 26, 2007, and it’s officially confirmed. (Word is, the creative team behind the first three films has absolutely nothing to do with this sequel)

sweet. after making two absolute piles of trash following that decent first movie, now they think we want a fourth one. can't wait for this garbage to hit theaters just so I can make fun of it for the rest of my life...
P. S. 👎Sorry for the language, but they honestly earned it.

The second one was total garbage to me—just a massive disappointment and boring as hell. Honestly, I don't see any chance of me going to see the third one...

So, I have a little something to brag about: I actually won an original DVD SAW set with all the bonus features during a giveaway. 😁 🙂

As for the movie itself, the sequel feels pretty amateurish and underwhelming. It lacks the clever trap mechanics from the first film, the characters are dull, and the twist is just too predictable...

When I first saw the trailer, I thought, "Eh, maybe a three out of ten..." now it just feels pretty underwhelming ☕
but I'll probably end up watching it anyway...

2007 is right around the corner
P. S. Get ready, because SAW IV is dropping in 2008, starring Jessica Alba and a major Hollywood lead.

Peace

The sequel is pretty amateurish and honestly kind of meh. It loses all those clever trap setups from the first movie, the characters are boring, and the twist is just weak and way too predictable.

Totally agree👍

So, I finally sat down to watch the movie and... honestly? It was pretty underwhelming. Just plain boring. I actually ended up nodding off halfway through... LOL...

I’ll probably check out the third installment, if only because I feel a sense of loyalty to the first two. Personally, though? I’m not expecting anything groundbreaking.

To be perfectly honest, the third installment felt quite underwhelming... I actually drifted off in several segments... and I certainly wasn't anticipating such an elaborate web of plot twists toward the end.
It was a somewhat tedious experience overall; the only moments truly worth sitting through were the scenes where the doctor performs that skull surgery and the sequence involving the old man's throat being slit... and honestly, that was about it for me.
I can only hope that the fourth entry manages to outshine this third one, though given the quality here, I find myself feeling rather skeptical.

Personally, I think Saw : Rated R for strong grisly violence and language is way better than all those modern horror flicks coming out lately. The second one was alright, but let’s be real—the first movie is always the best, just like most sequels struggle to live up to the original! I'm dying to see Saw III, though I have a feeling the fourth one won't be much good. Still, I might check it out just to see what the deal is and get a look at stars like Tom Cruise or Ben Affleck!

What that guy said... honestly, just plain boring...
Maybe I went in with my expectations set too high, or maybe the crew behind this thought that one single scene involving a trepanation was enough to catapult the whole movie into the next tier of horror. Personally, if you're looking for that "suffering... you haven't seen anything yet" vibe, you already got your fix from movies like *Hostel*...
