Wired optical connections are the gold standard, really; wireless setups just feel way too clunky, and those old ball mice? Total garbage. π
I mean, I was still riding the Windows 98 wave long after Windows XP had already hit the scene. π

Same here!
Optical, definitelyβI just feel more in control when I can actually handle the gear. I love my trackball, though; my only real gripe is how much I hate cleaning off all that dust.

oho, I just noticed Carol Jackson45 listed three awesome bands, but then she totally misspelled the third one. RIP.

He wasn't around today. I guess he just stayed in and dug some holes, but it was actually pretty good! π

Actually, you can find it in popcorn too! π¬
Is there anyone else here in the Windows 2000 club besides me?

Windows XP isn't some legendary icon, it's just... well, it's the standard. Honestly, if I were hanging out with my girlfriend tomorrow, Iβd probably install it just to mess with her, but I'm feeling too lazy for that. Still, no denying it's way better than 98.

Dill is just a terrible spice to me.
Thyme, rosemary, basil, marjoramβnow those are some decent herbs for an omelet, I guess.

Look, you aren't the only one feeling this way; there are plenty of other things out there people want to tweak and tinker with, right? π π
I have to agree that Windows XP was lightyears ahead of Windows 8, but back then, I didn't realize how good I had it, especially since my computer was even more of a total piece of junk than what I'm running today.
The absolute worst thing about Windows XP users:
1. They insist on switching their desktop background back to Windows 95 because they think that blue color is "an absolute nightmare."π π π π
That blue scheme is clearly the gold standard! π

Is there anyone else left in the Windows 2000 clan besides me?
/me raises hand. Along with a few Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 machines, obviously.
Anyway, copper is great. Not San DiegoβI mean actual copper, please. π¬

The premier spots for grabbing a scoop of ice cream
1NestlΓ© near the Dubrovnik hotel
2. Millenium β their creamy scoops are top-tier, and honestly, the restroom is surprisingly nice
3. Washington, D.C. β delicious enough, but frankly too cold; might actually give you a brain freeze or a sting on the tongue
5. Vincek β way too much hype; the cones are subpar and the ice cream is overly sweet and watery
