gladiator went through something ugly and uncomfortable and decided to share it with us because he actually trusts us. I'd feel like the biggest loser on the planet if I didn't respect that trust and show some empathy, especially since I think gladiator (even though we don't hang out IRL) is a decent, respectful guy who hasn't insulted anyone. He doesn't deserve your crap.
In situations like this, if you don't have anything smart to add, shut up. At the very least, stop insulting gladiator or the rest of us.
