The whole thing boils down to this: they were killer—honestly, top-tier—for their entire career, only to turn around and drop an album that wasn't just mediocre, it was straight-up garbage...
If they only end up with this one single thing on their record, it’s not even going to touch that "legendary" reputation of theirs... barely a scratch...

The real issue here isn't just that they messed up once; it's that they were consistently great—maybe even legendary—for their entire career, and then they suddenly dropped an album that wasn't just mediocre, it was straight-up terrible.
If this remains a one-time fluke, their "legendary" status will stay mostly intact. No big deal.

Give him a break. Aljoša is a good guy and a solid colleague of mine. He just had the misfortune of being born into a family of high-profile, wealthy attorneys, so he’s been stuck juggling music and the law at the same time. Honestly, I bet he’d drop the legal career in a heartbeat if he weren't worried about looking soft.
Since he’s always had money, he could have easily turned into a total snob or some unrefined jerk, so I’ll take who he is now over those options any day.
As for his music—look, in that specific genre here in the States, about 93% of what comes out is garbage, just like Ramirez. They aren't really breaking any ground, for better or worse.

I'm telling you again: Aljoša is a decent human being, so quit dragging him through the mud!!

Anything I caught on the radio just went in one ear and out the other, but that whole rant he wrote about Kset? Yeah, that lit up the moron alert and snob alert sensors in my brain immediately. Honestly, I don't see any reason to change my mind. Even if I kind of get where he's coming from regarding the "indie snobbery" vibe at Kset, it doesn't make his pretentious attitude or the way he reaches those conclusions any less annoying.
