Personal Top Lists & Rankings

That’s the truth. I actually picked up the other StarCraft after starting out, but let me tell you, SC was a total revolution 🙏

Top tier games (not ranked):

1. Accolade’s Moto GP and Test Drive 😍
2. Dune II
3. StarCraft and C&C
4. HoMM 2 and 3 🙏 🙏
5. StarCraft
6. Diablo 1 and 2
7. Total War—the whole series 🙏 🙏 🙏
8. Homeworld

Adam Moore, sure StarCraft is good, but when I hear those orcs roaring and see that stunning graphics 😍

If we're keeping that energy going, here are the top 3 gems from Westwood:

1. Command & Conquer 🙏
2. Command & Conquer: Red Alert
3. Blade Runner

🔥 🙂

My all-time favorite RPGs:

1. Baldur's Gate 2
2. Heroes of Might and Magic III
3. Arcanum
4. Morrowind
5. KOTOR

In a league of their own: Prince of Persia, Solitaire, Accolade formulas, Daggerfall, and King's Bounty.

The Accolade era of MotoGP was just better. They even had Rossi on the roster!! 🙏 🙏

😁

These are pretty demanding 😁

1. Grand Theft Auto V - half a floppy
2. StarCraft - 1 CD
3. Winter Olympics 2006 - 1 CD
4. Those old Accolade formulas—I can't recall the specific names, but I vividly remember two notebooks filled with merged CGA and VGA driver statistics from back in the day (there were two different versions) - half a floppy
5. The Lion King - roughly 2 floppies
5. Everything else from the Commodore era and those early PC days - half a floppy in total

I'm not really a motorcycle guy. Formula 1 is where it's at!

Totally forgot about ski jumping—it’s out of the running.

My top 5 games right now

1. Football Manager
🙂

Ugh, I could never pick a top 10 list if my life depended on it. There are just too many great ones out there...

4. Day of the Tentacle

Anyway, here is my own little list of retro favorites:

1. Syndicate 😍

Honestly, the absolute best one has to be "Rockstar Ate My Hamster" on the C64

1. Championship Manager
2. FIFA
3. GTA 1 and 2
4. Delta Force series
5. Commandos

System Shock...
Doom, Doom II...

1. Warcraft 2 🙏 🙏

🙏 🙏 🙏

The very first game! 😍

Then everyone would just unplug each other's power cords to prevent a loss. 🙏 🙏

Good grief, it’s wild how nobody ever brings up Fallout 1 and 2 🙂

Goodness, I knew I had forgotten something. 😢

I am adding two Indiana Jones sequels to the list. Perhaps they belong around 9th or 10th place? 😁

Just to mention, here are my top five RPGs. (I haven't played them all that much, though.)

Is Fallout 2 worth revisiting? It remains a classic.
Is Diablo 2 truly a masterpiece? It certainly feels like one.
Is there anything quite like Fallout? It remains an absolute classic.
Could there ever be a sequel more anticipated than Diablo 2? It remains a masterpiece.
Is Icewind Dale worth the time? It certainly is.
