Hmm. I’m lost again...
😕I guess five days at the beach really does something to a person's head... 😁

Well, there was a similar list floating around before, but all I really recall is that first-place winner who just won't budge
and some guy at a party who kept obsessing over getting piercings. 😁 🙏

Honestly, I’m impressed you have a better memory for my old posts than I do. 🙏 My brain feels like mush lately... 😵 😳 😵
So, we could technically call this an updated list. That whole business with the handling really warranted its own thread... 🙄
(+ while digging through my archives, I stumbled upon your old post where you argued that no sane person should ever touch Internet Explorer. What a coincidence. 😁 )

1. Winter, snow, ice, and black ice everywhere. We're walking side by side, I slip, and he—he just moves out of the way! 🙂
🤣 What a reaction, right? 🙏 🙏

Why today was actually a pretty fantastic workday
1. I hit up a local deli during my break and treated myself to some premium prosciutto and cheese.
2. Got my paycheck, so I finally picked up a new MP3 player.
3. When I arrived at the office, the power was out, leaving only two computers running.
4. Since there weren't enough workstations available, I decided to head out for a few beers instead.🙂
5. Just as the power came back on, I headed home.

That your legendary cat? 😢 😢 😢
Top 5 street cats:
gray whiskers.
Black and white.
3. black
4. striped orange
Black, white, and orange—my favorite combo. I’m only obsessed because of my neighbor's legendary, aggressive cat named Oprah.

I mean, honestly, having a nice little park where you can grab a drink is what really matters—plus, you actually have somewhere to duck into if it starts raining, which is a plus, I guess.😬

Now that you mention it, I’m starting to think the reporter was actually getting at that too. I just hope the editors don't get too suspicious about having nothing but a park bench or a random bush sitting right above a piece of writing like this. 😬

But seriously, they built two separate playgrounds—one for kids and one for teens—it’s just that the photo attached to the article is probably wrong. They're claiming it's the first playground of its kind in the US. Honestly, I can't even picture what that looks like.

They’ve got this specific broom just for picking up all those discarded flyers and random junk 😬
The cleaning crew finally showed up and hauled away all the trash 😢

What does a "teenager playground" even look like? 😲I'm genuinely stumped. We need to find the actual photo.

Poughkeepsie :) said:The fastest way to get over someone? Honestly, there isn't one—not if you’re looking for a "magic pill" solution that doesn't leave you feeling like a hollowed-out shell of a human being. People always come to me asking for this shortcut, as if I have some secret formula to just flip a switch and turn off the dopamine loop in my brain. It doesn't work like that. You can't just "delete" a person from your psyche like you're clearing your browser cache on a MacBook. If you want my two cents—and I say this with all the patience I can muster—it starts with radical, aggressive distance. I’m talking about more than just "unfollowing" them on Instagram. It’s about a total digital blackout. If you’re still checking their LinkedIn to see if they got that promotion at Goldman Sachs, or lurking on their Spotify to see if they're listening to that indie band you both loved, you aren't moving on; you're just picking at a scab. I remember back when I went through my own mess a few years ago—I thought I could handle being "just friends" with an ex while living in the same neighborhood. Big mistake. Huge. Every time I saw their car parked near a Starbucks, my heart would do this pathetic little stutter. I had to cut ties completely to find my footing again. The real work is internal. You have to stop romanticizing the highlights reel. We all do it—we sit there in the dark, obsessing over the three perfect months we spent together, while conveniently forgetting the month they were incredibly selfish or how much they drove us crazy. You need to be brutally honest about why it ended. It sounds cold, I know, but you have to strip away the nostalgia to see the reality. It’s a slow, grinding process. There are no shortcuts, no "life hacks," and certainly no quick fixes. You just have to endure the discomfort until, one day, you realize you haven't thought about them for an entire afternoon. That's when you know you've actually made progress.
Winter, snow, ice—everything is just a giant sheet of glass out there. We were walking side by side, minding our own business, when suddenly my feet went right out from under me. I slip, expecting him to catch me or at least grab my arm—but instead? He just steps clear away to keep his own balance! Unbelievable.
The very first time I stepped foot in his room, he didn't even wait to settle in—he just started thrusting photos of his exes in lingerie right in my face for absolutely no reason at all.
I’d been spotting him around town for ages—just watching from a distance—so when we finally actually met face-to-face, I was prepared for anything. But nothing could have braced me for that handshake. He reached out and gave me the most pathetic, slimy, weak-as-water grip I have ever experienced in my entire life. Honestly? It was an instant repellent. I knew right then and there that I needed to get as far away from him as possible.
You’re repeating yourself. ☕
Nicholas Perez33 said:So, where on earth is that guy with the piercing? 😁
See? I told you so. ☕
Nicholas Perez33 said:There was a similar list floating around a while back—I can almost picture it—but all I can actually recall is that top spot. It’s been stuck in my head ever since; no matter how much time passes, that number one position just refuses to fade from my mind. 😁 And then there was this one guy—some random dude at a roadside diner somewhere outside of Austin—who actually had the nerve to start lecturing me about getting a piercing. Honestly, I don't even know where he was coming from. It’s always the same story: someone who thinks they have some profound moral authority over your own body starts chirping away like they’re some kind of expert on personal aesthetics. Just because you're sitting in a booth sharing a cup of coffee doesn't mean you've earned the right to weigh in on my life choices. It was one of those interactions that just leaves you staring at your plate, wondering how people manage to be so incredibly intrusive in such mundane settings.
elephant memory Quote 👍
Poughkeepsie :) said:Honestly, I can’t even believe how much better your elephant memory Quote is than mine—you actually managed to recall exactly what I wrote better than I could myself. 🙏 I’ve been feeling absolutely scattered lately—just completely out of sorts—to be honest.
I suppose we could call this an updated list, then. Honestly, that whole situation with the handling—it absolutely deserved its own dedicated thread.
(I was actually digging through my old posts just now when I stumbled upon yours—the one where you argue that no sane person should ever be caught dead using Internet Explorer... what an incredible coincidence.) 😁 )
Remember, remember—just purely by coincidence, of course. Or is it a setup? A trap?
I’d honestly love to drop an emoji right here—the one where I’m giving Firefox a massive hug while simultaneously giving Exploder a firm kick to the teeth—but unfortunately, that specific little guy doesn't exist in my keyboard repertoire.

I swear, my brain just collects completely useless trivia. I don't think I'll ever reach the level of an elephant memory Quote 🙏 but man, oh man 😁
