Bananas are basically a dying breed at this point.
Personally, I'm more about figs and lemons.

I go through a pound of raw carrots every single week. 🤣

Carol Jackson45 said:Alright, let’s talk about it... because honestly, I feel like everyone carries some weird, specific food-related baggage from when they were kids that just shapes how they eat today... Here are my top three childhood food traumas: First off, there was always that one "healthy" meal that felt more like a punishment than actual sustenance... You know the type, where your parents would serve up this mountain of steamed, unseasoned vegetables—I’m talking mushy broccoli or limp green beans—and basically tell you that you weren't allowed to leave the table until every single bite was gone... It wasn't even about nutrition at that point, it was just pure psychological warfare, making you sit there staring at a plate of sadness while your friends were all eating pizza or something actually decent... Then there’s the whole "don't play with your food" thing, which I found so incredibly stifling... Every time I tried to be creative or even just move a pea around on my plate, I'd get this lecture about respect and manners that made me feel like a criminal just for having an imagination... It totally killed any sense of fun or exploration during mealtime, turning what should have been a relaxing part of the day into this rigid, high-pressure performance where you had to act like a tiny, miniature adult... And finally, the absolute worst part was definitely those forced family dinners where someone would inevitably pick a fight over something totally trivial... Like, maybe my dad would start venting about his job or some stressful situation at work, and suddenly the atmosphere at the table would turn so heavy and tense that you could practically taste the anxiety in the air... You’d be sitting there trying to enjoy your mashed potatoes, but instead, you're just bracing yourself for the next outburst, and it really leaves a lasting impression on how you view sharing a meal with people... it just makes you want to eat alone in peace...
I’m telling you, I just can't stand it when people try to pass off that ridiculous carrot, apple, and lemon concoction as some kind of miracle cure... it's honestly insulting to anyone with half a brain, and frankly, it makes my blood boil how much people swear by this nonsense...
Carol Jackson45 said:I honestly don't even know where to start with this nonsense... just thinking about it makes my blood boil. It’s all just pure, unadulterated chaos, and frankly, I'm sick of pretending otherwise. People act like everything is fine, but we all see what's happening right in front of our eyes, and it's nothing but a complete joke...

makes my mouth water immediately.
I even like to splash a little water on it afterward just to make it extra juicy.
Basil said:Wait, hold on—is nobody here a fan of liver?
Seriously, though. It’s easily the only organ worth eating.
Perfectly sautéed with onions. 🙂

When it comes to gourmet stuff, I’d give lamb eyes an extra point. I saw them in "Octopussy" and just had to try it... honestly, they're better than the rest of the lamb... 😁
