Top 5 quotes from Maradona's autobiography about his fellow players

1. Peter Shilton got crushed because of my handball goal. But what about you, Shilton? You didn't see him? He wouldn't even invite me to his testimonial... oh, I might just cry! Besides, how many people actually show up to a goalie's retirement game? A goalie's!!
On Peter Shilton

2. Huge talent, but way more wild than I ever was
On George Best

3. A real character, always trying to pull one over on you. It always felt like he played better than he actually did
on Davor Šuker

4. German through and through. You practically had to take him out just to beat him
on Karl-Heinz Rummenigge 5th animal

5. A beast. A total beast, and thank God he's Argentinian.
On Gabriel Batistuta

and stuff like that🤣

Drew Adams58 said:Does anyone remember those old Western sets? You know, the ones with the cowboys and Native Americans where all the joints actually moved, and they came with little pistols and rifles and everything.

Man, I had the massive one with the four-horse carriage and two Indians carrying Winchesters.😎

I think I had the cowboy on a two-horse buggy. It also had a rifle and all those movable parts—definitely my second favorite toy back then. My number one was playing soccer with a spring ball, and third place goes to LEGOs, obviously.

Man, you guys just reminded me of how much fun I had growing up! Honestly, the most traumatic moment of my childhood was when we were forced to stop playing partisans vs. Nazis and had to switch over to playing soldiers vs. rebels...

Space stuff, those old-school knights—you know, halberds and Robin Hood hats🙂—and pirates (sabers, cannons, and the monkey)

Personally, I was always all about the Lego trains😢

Space was awesome! And those pirates were kicking ass too. But honestly, most of us were just busy stacking and stacking and stacking Legos...

Me? I’m more about the electricity. If I could just run wires all over my room to build little plaster mountains and houses... :munjena:

That feels a bit extreme to me. I actually own one of those Technics seaplanes, but honestly, it’s such a headache because of how poorly the build quality holds up in certain spots.😬

The one that could have been a space satellite? That was my setup... 🙂

I’ve actually never owned any Lego Technics myself.😢

Good grief—where did you even dig that up? They haven't really made those for nearly 15 years...

Not that I follow the Lego scene all that closely, though... 🙄

I’ve got the black one right now, but I'm about to get the dark green version straight from Canada. Honestly, I'm hyped as hell—feeling like a kid on Christmas morning.😍
