Carol Jackson45 said:And the Amtrak Express lines

Man, these would be the ultimate little models for any aspiring architecture student😍

By the way, boldscout72, you might have luck hunting for that one-eyed version of Jesus down by the pier, but finding the other two seems like a lost cause...

Man, I used to mess around with actual compasses, protractors, and rulers back before I even knew what they were for. Now they’re just sitting in a drawer somewhere. Maybe my kids will get some use out of them. 😬

Top 5 kid toys starting with L:
Lego. Absolute kings of the toy box.
Resistance bands. Just cheap pieces of stretchy rubber that used to trigger endless hours of cardio and some seriously nasty drama in the women's gym groups. 😵
Soccer. That was the one thing that actually brought the guys and girls together back in the day. I practically lived on the pitch during middle school.
Just sandcastles and shovels. Pure chaos at the beach. Love it.
Dolls. Plushies. 😍

Ugh—I used to have that entire massive collection of little plastic toy soldiers

And how could I even forget: chips, crackers, beef jerky... 😁

Sandra Chase16 said:- playing pretend as David Attenborough
- battling the neighborhood kids with water balloons and soaked street bags

Oh sure, David has been my hero since I was a kid... 👍
But the closest I ever got to his level of "nature documentary" immersion was sitting in a tree in my backyard with my hair looking like a bird's nest after a hurricane. 🙂 And naturally, my thumbs and index fingers were always covered in dirt.

We didn't have those fancy water balloons back then; we just used garden hoses to soak each other. There was always one kid everyone hated because he had a high-end Super Soaker—it gave him the longest range and the most terrifyingly accurate aim.😠

red wave said:that little game people call "blindfolded tag"🙂 is actually one of the more dangerous things you can get mixed up in, in so many different ways.

The truth is, that whole chapter of my childhood ended because my mom finally lost her patience and banned it. 🙂
But obviously, it wasn't the first time. She’d ban it, we’d play again a few days later, she’d ban it again, I’d promise on my life we were done with it, and then—surprise, surprise—we were back at it a couple of days later. Then one day she walked through the door and made up (she finally confessed this years later) some story about bumping into a friend on her way home who told her they saw us playing at my place that morning. And the crazy thing? It was actually true! 😕 🙂
So, being the absolute saint that I am, I just 😳 sat there and made the shameful decision that I simply wasn't going to lie to my mother ever again. 😵

Jason Chavez32 said:Oh, absolutely. David Attenborough has been my hero since I was a little kid... 👍
But the closest I ever got to mimicking his transformations was sitting up in the branches of a tree in my backyard with my hair looking like a complete disaster. 🙂 And naturally, I spent most of my time focusing on my thumbs and index fingers like a true amateur.

David Attenborough: respect.
And that whole business with the thumbs and fingers, yeah, I get it. 😍
The absolute furthest I ever went was during one episode where he tried tasting an ant that was collecting nectar from its rear—so, naturally, I decided to try a black one myself. It wasn't great. Actually, it was just painful.

I remember that one. 🙂

Jason Chavez32 actually enjoys trekking through the Sahara Desert and the jungle?! 😲 Did I ever mention what a decent guy he is?

We had those first two too. Instead of the third one, we could say we're acting like Tarzan, Jane, Cheetah, and the rest of the crew. Swap the fourth for just pretending to be monkeys. Honestly, I've always regretted not having a tail so I could hang from trees. 😍

Balloons, spray bottles... 😍
One time a massive water balloon popped all over the piano. The grown-ups absolutely lost their minds. 😳

Seriously though, does anyone actually know what kind of animal Vobo is? Like some spotted hyena but without the spots or something? What the hell.

What kind of "clever" tricks are they even talking about? Honestly, it's nothing but blatant lies—I have absolutely nothing to do with any of it. 🙂

1. Elvis Presley 🙂

What? Did you seriously need to go listen to Cirque du Soleil again? 🤣

Not at all. He’s just bitter because they didn't scout him as a vocalist—apparently, he was too "mainstream" for those hardcore rockers. 😬

It’s not that, it’s just that fans of the asphalt get worked up pretty easily 🙂
