Ugh, yeah, I watched. It was pretty great 😍 😍 😍
I actually loved when he totally trashed those politicians: "my buddy lives tech-free... doesn't even have a TV. seriously, guys, it's right there on his website" 🤣

but Ali G: why are skeletons always portrayed as evil?
Doctor:😕
Doctor: Well... because at the end of the day, a skeleton is the only thing left intact, you know... 🙄

But Ali G: Like, what if we just implanted a cell phone inside ourselves...
Doctor: What exactly do you think would happen if you swallowed a cell phone?
Ali G: It would ring when people called, obviously...
Doctor, losing his mind: No! You'd get internal injuries, hemorrhaging, sepsis!
Carol Jackson45: 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

A physical altercation broke out during the anti-nuclear testing protest, including an assault on a hippie woman.

My #1 most misguided "helpful" suggestion of all time:
1. How to beat jet lag—I flew back from the US and landed around 3 PM. Everyone kept telling me I just had to power through until evening to reset my internal clock and fix the jet lag. Well, it’s been 15 hours since I landed, everyone else is passed out around the house, and I can only conclude that something went horribly wrong. I’ve currently been awake for 39 hours straight and I’m pretty much done... heading to bed now. The whole idea of curing jet lag with a beer might be a legendary concept, but it's definitely not working for me. Night.

Here’s a quick rundown of the absolute chaos that went down after I finally walked away from all that love, peace, joy, flowers, allergies, and whiskey by the riverbank and headed straight into the gritty heart of downtown:
1) A super awkward run-in with some BBB-ovac guys (yeah, them) who I was actually being pretty nice to, only for them to start badgering me with some random stick while yelling, "Where are you even from? You clearly aren't happy with how the game ended!"
(A little creepy if we're being honest, though I guess there was a weirdly charming vibe to it in a twisted sort of way)
2) This heartbreaking life story from a sanitation worker who fled his hometown and now lives in Sisk, but pulls night shifts as a trash collector in Washington, D.C. He laid it all out for me over some depressing bamboo—you know, that Rugar mixed with "enriched depleted uranium" Sky Cola stuff.
3) The undeniable fact that once you've basically cemented your system with whiskey and beer, the only thing left that can actually sober you up is... well, anything else.

That's what happens when you're out drinking on a Saturday after spending all day yesterday in nothing but a short-sleeved shirt...

on was rambling in another thread said:I’ve completely fallen for Washington, D.C. I want to move there and basically run the entire world from an Oral Office... It’s such a great city, everything is so lush and green, the architecture has that classic feel, and people actually spend time outside, just lounging around in the parks; I’ve done nothing but walk everywhere...
I guess I'll have to put together some sort of top list or start a blog about it...
My definitive ranking of the most treacherous residents (of Washington, D.C. 😍):

The top 5 CDs checked out at the local library this week:
1. the definitive Simon & Garfunkel
because, let’s face it, I’m a bit of an emo at heart.
2. Gram Parsons & the Fallen Angels - live 1973
there's just something about listening to weeping cowboys.
3. Iannis Xenakis - Chamber Music 1955-90
purely to satisfy my inner snob.
4. 4. Rolling Stones - Forty Licks
keeping up with what the kids are into these days.
5. 5. Oasis - Definitely Maybe
as much as I used to hate them, you can't deny this is a solid record. whatever.
Public libraries rule! 🙏

Forget Simon & Garfunkel. They're just... fine. Paul Simon solo is the real deal—even if he hits a few bumps in the road now and then.
Didn't feel like turning off the TV, so now I've got Oliver on—plus I'm singing so loud my neighbors might actually call the fire department, and... honestly, I think I might be drunk.
Edit: Does 4. Rolling Stones - Forty Licks have anything to do with Dana Anderson4?😬?

What a total mess... did you actually lock them in so they'd focus on their homework? 😈
The guy's gone completely off the rails! 🙏
