Thanks... 😳 To me, every single squirrel out there is just Chip or Dale, whether they're acting normal or being total weirdos... 😳 So, what exactly were Flip and Flop supposed to be? The ones that that crazy wolf Prepredenko was always chasing around... Or was Prepredenko actually a coyote? Honestly, I just liked the name Prepredenko so much when it popped into my head that I had to go ahead and add it to my signature...

That comic actually ran in Tom and Jerry. If I remember right, Flik and Flok (my bad, typo above) lived in some hole in the ground, kind of a desert wasteland vibe... When I was a kid, I always thought they were squirrels, or maybe chipmunks? And Prepredenko was a wolf, but looking back at the setting, he totally could've been a coyote... You know, with that long snout, he looked a lot like Wolf...

Edit: redcrane28 is saying he was a coyote and those two were squirrels...

Man, I remember that... 😍

Pretty sure they were just squirrels. As for that none guy, I couldn't tell a coyote from a wolf if my life depended on it 😳

I think those guys were the pigs and he was Wile E. Coyote. Honestly, I can't be sure—that was forever ago, and I was just a little kid back then.

No way, that law was spot on—it was basically how things worked back in the day over in places like Ohio or Indiana... just old-school stuff. 😁
So, did you guys living in the big cities pick up much of that foreign TV programming?

Yeah, yeah... they could've been the Coyotes, true enough.

Sweeney, you nailed it. 🙏 🙏 🙏

analogharbor442 said:Man, you nailed it. That was the law back in the day over in New York City... just like those old stories about Vuk and Zec. 😁
Did you guys in NYC actually watch those Mexican TV channels?

That's a whole different ballgame. ☕

I bet everyone was watching those shows from New York City anyway. I mean, how else would they have seen Branko Kockica?

Of course we did. It’s just like how Mexicans in California or Canadians in Austria or Turks in New York City all watched the exact same stuff. Though I remember some crazy dogs in a comic book somewhere—maybe Mickey Mouse Almanac? 😬🤔

And what even is Zerdav? 😬

Just as the morning breaks with clarity
And you unfurl your white sail
By nightfall, the lights are already flickering
As the whole world settles in for sleep

Vuk tells you
Good evening
Vuk says good evening to you
Oi!

Did anyone here actually read High Fidelity back in the day?

By the way, Halien is the official promoter for Death Disc, and they run a tight ship—they aren't exactly fond of people interfering with their business.😬

Yeap, there's actually a whole backstory involving NK zerdav, but unless you're stormyviper11, nobody would even get it, so it's probably not worth the effort... 😬

Look, I could totally get behind the West Coast vibe, mostly because nobody else wants to deal with that kind of chaos anyway 😬

By the way, *High Fidelity* is easily one of my all-time favorite movies (mostly because of those ridiculous dimensions and Blackie, obviously), but this list was put together regardless of the film. Fun fact—there’s a concert poster for two bands hanging in Cusack's apartment that pops up at least 15 times during the movie. Both bands absolutely rock, by the way.

Excuse me??? 🙂

"Meh"??? 🙂

"OK"??? 🙂

Look, Paul Simon solo is a legend sometimes, sure... he's alright. But Simon & Garfunkel? From basically the first note they ever recorded, those guys were kings. I mean, okay, maybe they didn't need those slightly annoying orchestral arrangements on stuff like Bridge Over Troubled Water, but the songs themselves—pretty much everything from that era—are absolute masterpieces. Especially those early, purely acoustic versions. Honestly, if they had just recorded The Boxer and Cecilia, they’d already be staples in every hall of fame out there. The only way I can even begin to wrap my head around your blasphemy is if you're talking about how they overplay the same few hits constantly... which makes them a bit played out, sure, even if the tracks are killer.
