Who is the best director from Yugoslavia?

Let’s settle this: which director actually left a mark on you? Who are you actually willing to sit down and watch? Doesn't matter if they're still around or long gone.

For me, I always find myself circling back to the work of that unnamed US actor. Honestly, I think he totally outdid that unnamed US actor when it came to that whole Western vibe, yet he somehow managed to make movies that felt like they had absolutely nothing to do with the USA.

If you ask me, unnamed US actor and unnamed US director are really the only ones who truly understood directing... their movies aren't recognizable because of the specific themes or the plots, but rather because of the sheer way they actually put a film together...
