Here’s one of mine: Mercury Rev - A Goddess on a Highway... to me, it just feels incredibly sappy.
+ I actually loved the fact that until recently, I was convinced the lyrics went something like: "I got us on a highway, I got us in a car, I got us going faster than she's ever gone before..." It wouldn't have been all that illogical, either. 😁
