Arthur Martinez7 said:First off, spare me that "die-hard fan" crap. I’ve been following this since the World Cup in Germany, I've been at basically every away game... So what? 🙂

Second, Moses definitely wasn't some prophet. 😁

What "die-hard fan" nonsense 😁 are you talking about? Nobody watches handball in real life 😁

Get a grip on Moses. 😁

James Vaughn3 said:He probably meant Nostradamus. 🤣

Go to hell, man. 😁
By the way, Nos is a great bar in San Francisco that I hit up every single day. 👍

If nobody else opens before me (meaning actual decent people, not those jerks who open tomorrow), 🙂

frozentiger6 said:Ballack was the third top scorer of the championship, but if you consider that most of the guys ahead of him scored half their goals from penalties, Ballack is actually the best scorer.

Sola is fifth as a goalie, but based on save percentages, he's okay—however, in terms of average saves, he's overwhelmingly number one with 13 saves per game.

Everyone else is two or more behind him.

Of course, that's also because we practically don't have any other goalie.

I was throwing stats around yesterday... I think it was on page 4, but it needs an update. 😁

Look, guys, hand on heart, I’m not trying to be a total pessimist here. It’s just a fact that no living being could endure what Ballack and the rest of them have been put through. Honestly, they look physically spent. At this rate, they’re going to buckle, and we’ll see a repeat of that disaster in Tunis during the semifinals right here 😉

Just look at the depth of the bench for the Americans and the Spaniards compared to us. Our guys, Ballack and Vori, are out there grinding for 50 minutes or more.
The Americans are going to absolutely tear us apart.

I wouldn't go that far, but if it makes you feel better, I'll let you have that one. 😁

Nah, frozentiger6... I mean, Moses wasn't exactly a prophet or anything, but hey, let's not go telling EX that, okay? 😬

Just look at the sheer depth of the roster for the Americans and the Spaniards, then look at our own Ballack and Vori, who are playing fifty minutes or more per game.
The Americans are going to eat us alive.

Weeeeeee 👋 :clapping: :clapping:

At this rate, I am certain we are going to lose 👍

As far as I recall, Moses was a prophet. 😕

.........................
What can those flashy Frenchmen actually offer us?
Don't get worked up, everyone. Those little, dark-eyed Spaniards can be a handful, but let's just take it easy. 😂
We’re going to take them down. Our guys are made of granite—just that classic American grit, right?😍
A real man. 😉

Like, physically, they're just spent. I mean, I guess they might just buckle under the pressure and end up having a repeat of that Tunis disaster during the semifinals here 😉

Just look at how much depth those French and Spanish squads have compared to us. Our guys, like Ballack and Vori, are out there playing 50 minutes or more! It's crazy.
The French are gonna absolutely shred us.

Man, you are such a maker-of-excuses, frozentiger6. You totally remind me of our local sports commentators. Ugh, it's always "oh, our players are so tired," or "the field is bad," or "it's raining too hard..." as if the other teams are just lying down while we play, or like they aren't shooting on the exact same turf!

Seriously, man, stop with all the excuses for once...😠

That’s not how it works. Moses, the prophet and liberator, actually foretold the birth of Jesus—the literal arrival of the Savior that the Jewish people have been waiting for. They're still waiting today, completely unaware they missed the mark two thousand years ago. 😁

frozentiger6 was a prophet. Or rather, an anti-prophet. I expect our guys to celebrate their championship win by wearing shirts under their jerseys that say: Vanja Mojsije, America is with you.

I mean, what can those flashy French guys or maybe
those high-strung little Spaniard spiders actually do to us? Seriously, come on😂
we'll just eat them up for breakfast... Our guys are built different, tough as nails, real Americans, right?😍
Real men. 😉

Look, honey, Moses wasn't a prophet. Just grab a Bible and start studying..

So, who else could realistically make it to the finals instead of Espagna? Maybe Denmark, I guess...
It’s possible we won't see a rematch between Tunis and the Spaniards here.🤔....

Stop hiding behind those excuses for once...😠

It’s pretty obvious you don't spend much time hanging out on these forums. 😁

It's just pure superstition, Ink. 😉 Nothing more to it.

I’m honestly just relieved we didn't run into the Spanish team. Every time I think about that final from last year... 😲

How bad did we get crushed? A seven or eight point gap? 🤔

I’m crossing my fingers for a matchup against France, though I know fatigue is probably starting to set in for everyone. Still, coming off a four-goal win like this should give our guys plenty of momentum; they're definitely going to play with some extra fire now.

Let's go, Team USA! Great win against the neighbors!

p.s. That commentator was on fire during the pre-game broadcast. He said something along the lines of, "The guys from across the border have nothing left to lose... it's true, they won't make it past this round regardless, but they know if they beat us, they'll get a massive hero's welcome back home. Meanwhile, if we lose to them, we lose twice over. We miss the semifinals, and the fans here will absolutely tear us apart for losing to our rivals." 🤣

Legend! 🙂

frozentiger6 said:Actually, he did. The prophet Moses—our great deliverer—foretold the birth of Jesus. He spoke of the arrival of the Savior that the Jewish people have been anticipating, perhaps unaware they've been looking in the wrong direction for two thousand years.😁

Oh, please, let's not go down that rabbit hole. It would be much better if you just 😁

Go ahead and share those pessimistic forecasts of yours. 👍
