Ah... I can see it clearly now. : )))))))

I usually just listen to his podcasts if I can't catch a show—it's my fallback. And honestly, whenever I head out the door, I make sure to declare ...for I am not possessed by this house. 😍

My top 3 finds from this week😁:
1. That coconut cream yogurt by Tonka, which actually has a whopping 6% milk fat 🙏 🙏 (though honestly, the packaging is a total disaster, you’d never even guess what was inside based on how it looks..)
2. Those blue Minute cookies, I think they were from Milky
3. Vanilla-scented Paloma wipes 😍

Haven't seen the movie—but let me tell you, that vibe is spot on. Honestly? I'd stay in that headspace forever.😬

My personal Top 4 list of absolute worst songs to be jolted awake by

1. Mate Bulić - Gora borovina ( honestly, for a split second, you might actually think the house is on fire )
2. Anything by Ivana Brkić (because let’s be real, it would probably just leave you feeling totally frazzled)
3. Metallica - Fuel (this one hits you like a freight train, dragging you out of your deepest sleep in about 1.2 seconds)
4. Miroslav Škoro - Ne dirajte mi ravnicu (you might find yourself unexpectedly tearing up while the sun is still coming up)

Man, watching that movie would've been a total trip—like, a straight-up supernatural experience for me.

Yeah, it’s definitely "supernatural," but in all the wrong ways... more like sub-natural, if that's even a thing...

And don't even get me started on that mid-movie credits sequence—it was so surreal. Just when you think, "Okay, thank God, it's finally over," and you feel that massive wave of relief, they hit you with another assault. It's just... wow. 😠 😵 🙂 🙂 🙂

but since we're talking about it—Land of plenty... 🙂

what a disaster of a movie! I think I slept through half of it while sitting in a cafe in NYC.

since we're bringing up the corpus callosum, my top 3 favorite parts of the nervous system—if I had to pick—
1. the cerebellum 🎉
2. the limbic system
3. the prefrontal cortex

The absolute worst thing you could ever let slip into your ear—it’s like hearing a low-budget cover of a classic rock anthem played on a kazoo inside a Walmart 🤮

Ugh, tell me about it, and don't even get me started on that sappy, pathetic garbage at the end, good grief...
I just really hope you weren't stuck in the same room as that little moron—you know, the dark-haired kid from that trashy American soap opera who was walking around with that Lan 🤔 (the blonde one, total nightmare).

Just complete and utter trash... 🙄 🙄 🙄

I just hope you weren't hanging out with that little idiot (the dark, curly-haired one) from that soap opera we used to watch who was dating that Lana 🤔 (the blonde, the bad one).

Matija!
No, I wasn't. I was sitting with this total jackass colleague who was also basically nodding off. 🙂
Too bad ExxonMobil is boycotting Napa Valley—Marko wouldn't even let me lean on his shoulder. 😁

Basil said:I’d also throw in August Cesarec... specifically those tables in the back rows where you could actually fit a decent spread of food and drinks.

Give me a break, August Cesarec... while everyone else was already printing tickets from computers, those guys were still ripping them out of little paper pads.😍

And don't even get me started on the heating—it never worked. I remember watching Pulp Fiction, buried under a Mountain Dew blanket up to my chin, just shivering because the air was so freezing.😲

No, I wasn't... I was actually sitting there next to this total jackass colleague of mine who was also basically nodding off at his desk... 🙂

Well, alright then.
I mean, you probably would have remembered me otherwise, wouldn't you? :2up:

My #1 biggest fail at the Napa Valley film festival:

1. We’re sitting there watching "Darwin's Nightmare"—you know, the stuff about famine, AIDS, wars, and kids struggling with addiction in Tanzania. It's heavy, gut-wrenching stuff. Then, out of nowhere, some guy in a dark theater starts complaining loudly because he needs the AC cranked up or he's going to die from the humidity. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Wait, did we actually run into each other at the Democratic Party convention? I honestly can't recall 🤔
Marić offered me a ride back, and while we were still hanging out near the CIA headquarters, he jumps in the car and goes, "Jasna, I finally got my driver's license." Now you can start thinking about 🤣 🙏

1. We’re watching some intense documentary—you know, the stuff about famine, disease, wars, kids struggling in sub-Saharan Africa... basically just soul-crushing stuff—and then this guy in the middle of the theater starts complaining that the AC isn't high enough because he might actually die from the humidity. 🤣 🤣 🤣

I mean, that movie was total garbage anyway.

pet said:2. Vincent (Tim Burton, 1982) - gotta watch those first two at least once a day
3. Fritz the Cat (Ralph Bakshi, 1972)
4. The Sword in the Stone (Wolfgang Reitherman, 1963)
5. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (Tom Stoppard, 1990)
6. Catch-22 (Mike Nichols, 1970)

Haven't seen the first one, but the rest are all gems 😍 😍 😍

Haven't really sat through many movies this year. 😢 Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was last year.

My most anticipated animated list:

1. Corpse Bride 😁

But, I'll admit, there were a few decent moments... like when those Russian mechanics are fixing the plane with nothing but a hammer 😂 or that part where the night guard shows off his bow and arrows while patrolling that research facility. 😂 😂
